Rev Barber was invited to speak at Trinity Episcopal Church in Spruce Pine, NC in Mitchell Country. He took time to explain what Moral Monday movement: It is not about Republican vs Democratic, white vs black. It is about being right vs wrong.
Since then, the Moral Monday movement has taken root in Mitchell County and in neighboring Yancy county. Could this be a game-changing moment for the movement?

Whats funny is I am from dallas tx, my 90 year old grand mother is from the east texas in a very rural area. I grew up hearing this phrase all the time, as a matter of fact she still says it when she tells stories of people going to hope others. I knew exactly where he was going with that and its remarkable that tradition to span the nation that way. Just shows history doesn't die if you don't let it, hoping people is something I've tried to do as much as possible as a way of honoring my grand mothers legacy. its something I think people should try to do on a regular basis.

Actually at one time. The conjugation of the world "help" was help, hope, hoped in early America. The Conjugation was later altered. So technically if he grew up in an area where this was still taught he is not wrong.

We have to keep our children engaged, classes with curriculums that grabs their attention, and leads to a productive future. Such as trade schools and technical schools. We must pay our teachers higher wages and give them full support. I also would like to see our deacons on these school buses keep things in order and safe, the bus driver can't drive and control the students at the sametime. School start with them. I'm not saying Rev. Barber is right or wrong, however, I'm just still not comfortable with the terms liberal or conservative in relation to God. God was not of the world and definitionally wasn't into politics, He is about truth and the truth is neither liberal or conservative. It's simply the truth. When we get into a discussion involving a left or right what comes forth is a debate of nonsense, the truth is based on God's word and not on a political platform.

Black people who are of the decendants of slavery we are AMERICANS The terminology is Black American or White American. Slavery came from the Arabs and through the Muslims not from America. In America slavery was spread. Yes, our decendants are from Africa so we could say Afro-America but we are Americans, first, not African.
