I can't entirely agree, only because of my experience. My deepest wounds that were imposed in relation were healed in relation. My beloved partner has shown me ways to be with myself and provided a space for me to be vulnerable. Even though my mind knew I was safe in relation, feeling safe in my body and nervous system took some time. I'm grateful to my partner for entering and not leaving the relationship because I carried trauma. Love, connection and relation is the answer. It healed my body and mind and restored balance in my heart.

Honestly that's pretty impossible. A person should start the process and know how to not project their triggers, but in my experience of sexual trauma + childhood emotional and verbal abuse, I will be working through this forever.

In the beginning of this segment, I was angry at how the girl friend came out and spoke to the brutha on national TV. It was emasculating. However, I was delighted to see her calm down and listen. Especially when he talked about being date raped and having to fight for custody of his daughter. They both truly listed and took responsibility for their roles in the lack of intimacy in their relationship. By the end of that segment I was in tears. We never know what traumas people have faced in their lives and why they act the way they do. If you are lucky enough to find a great partner, fight for them. Karamo did a great job of mediating that segment and putting both of them on a path to healing individually and as a couple. I've never seen his show before, but I will definitely be watching.

Saying that you don't believe she's flirting, is definitely your opinion . The boy friend was there to see what his girlfriend was saying & doing . Now, there's a possibility that she is just being friendly, but sometimes, it's hard to tell the difference between being very friendly & flirting when you know someone is very friendly, flirty & sneaky . Young man, you are much stronger than you believe or even give yourself credit for. It's ok to accept that you may or may not have made the correct choices in life. The key is squaring your shoulders back , lifting your head of high, come face to face with your pain, allow the pain to do what it does and then move forward... Assess, listen and evaluate will always be the key factors in making the choices that are right for you. It's very plain and simple!!!!!!

The WAY she came out tells me everything! If she's doing that at home, THAT is why he continually walled off. Soon as he walked out, i could tell he was hurt, broken & needs a hug, not hostility but patience. Karamo gives half- true advice & advocating a break-up. He asked why he doesn't open up more... duhhh the answer is evident. Yes, he needs to be healed- both do, but patience, love, support & kindness is needed apparently more in his direction bc of his state of being and if she cant or is unwilling to help him through & use discernment & intuition, then maybe she should move on, but he needs no more damage.

It happens a lot more than you think. I know someone very close to me that is a man, that got raped like that. But he was at a friends house and his friends watched the girl put something in his drink and then the whole thing happened and then watched him pass out and stay on the floor the whole night. Then tell him what happened in the morning. He was so broken for a while. I felt so bad for him. And his girlfriend at the time didn’t know how to take it. She felt bad but didn’t fully understand. But they stayed together and got married. Had a baby and everything. I’m glad it didn’t keep him down. His brother punched one of the guys that watched
