Great video! I still can't get over how crazy the Ultra 1 Marketing campaign was. I remember reading hundreds of Amazon reviews praising the Ultra 1 (day one of launch). It felt like they sent hundreds of samples to get people to write positive reviews.

Dude if it ran on 9 volts and shipped with Accustrike darts it would’ve been so much better 😭. Immediately after the blasters released were so much better. Still think the Two, Strike, Four and Pharoah are still really great

I remember getting into Nerf after the Ultra One came out and thought it was super cool, I was considering getting the blaster but never did. Glad I didn’t go through with getting it.

Modded ultra 2 is pretty fun, ultra blasters were not good stock but at least there was some good blasters for modding. Shortdart pharaoh and 2 were great xD

Does anyone else think that the official eyepro looks like Mork from Ork's sunglasses? Anyhoo, Mrs Tyeth bought me an Ultra Two from a UK thrift store for $3 and with Accustrikes I have had great fun. Maybe try the Focus next (saves time testing the AMP). Great vid thanks.

The Ultra One was on "Dangerous Toys" lists that Christmas and I'm like... it's Nerf tho, there's no way these people know what they're talking about. Personally, I stopped watching TV back in the early 00's so I never saw any of the ads for it later in the 2010's. I think the first clue I had was because it was on a dangerous toys list that started auto-playing after I was listening to something else. I was just starting to get back into Nerf around that time (ordered a few blasters in Dec/'19) Got my first and only Ultra blaster (U5) near the end of '21.

I bought one of these as a curiosity. Darts damage easily. Jams a lot. Hell, Hyper was a lot more interesting.

Ultra was not good but also not bad.The worst part was hasbros advertising,like the ultra one is kinda special and different from other nerf flywheelers at the time,but it was too expensive and the whole line was too expenisive.
