Thank you! No, I didn't, used the built in microphone. That said, I did have a few issues with the volume starting low and then increasing. I updated the software, so hopefully that will sort it out. What did you think of the audio?

Interested to know why you are only spending one week in Singapore. Is this due to the cost of accomodation? We found you can live cheaply in Singapore ie hawker centres, lots of free things to do and MRT is cheap - but accommodation is expensive.

Yes, exactly the reason. I don’t like hostels and prefer comfort so you’re looking at £640 for a week, which is not too bad but to stay here a month I’d be looking at £3,000+ a month.

The new camera is pin sharp. Good that you are doing what you like best again. Hope your health issues are now behind you. Look forward to your Singapore videos. I have never been. It looks very clean and tidy.. My wife and eldest son are going Back to Kuching in 30th Jan, gutted I have to stay behind, youngest son is in college and can’t leave him. Safe travels.

I’ve not looked at digital cameras for a while so not sure what that camera is like. KZbin is a good place to start. It really depends what you are looking for from a camera.

Better in what way? Sure, there's more things to do/see in Singapore but as Saladin mentioned, the standard of living here is much much more expensive. The room I have here for a week is the same price as one in KL for a month.

@@remotedarren as someone who loves travelling by foot, Kuala Lumpur is a nightmare. Poor pavements, highways cut across dense areas, cars parked everywhere. Singapore is a much better urban area.
