Well, this definitely wasn’t one of the things I was expecting to see in 2024. I’m so sorry you got banned dude. I know how much time and effort you put into your account and all of the rares/collectables you had. I understand RMT is against the rules, but this seems extreme for the circumstances. I feel like a conversation explaining you cannot do that, and maybe a 2 week/month temp would’ve made more sense. It’s not like you sold your in game assets for thousands of $, or bought a bunch of rares for $. This wasn’t malicious. This was so insignificant in the grand scheme of your playtime and contributions to the game/community, and I feel like that should be taken into account instead of it being so black and white. Also, I know you’re openly admitting to it in this video, but to base a ban off of discord dms is a little scary. It’s so easy to fake discord dms nowadays. What’s stopping someone from faking discord dms, and using them as ‘evidence’ to persecute other KZbinrs, or even other players that may not have a larger platform to defend themselves? I’m not saying no action should’ve been taken, but seriously you’ve been such a beneficial contributor to our community, this just feels extreme. I get that what they did may not have seemed like a huge thing but you have to remember it's a rule for a reason, if the devs learned of this and did nothing what example would that show for others who might do something a bit more severe. It's not about what they did to break the rule or the reasoning behind it, it's that the rule was broken in the first place. Will it be unfair in most situations? Yes, but this also shows to others in the community that a line has been drawn and if you cross that line the same could happen to you. However, the punishment in this situation is harsh and I think it would have been fine with a temporary ban and not a permanent one but the devs call not mine.
