I particularly enjoyed this episode Dr.Webb! I am Pre-Med right now, and I am focusing on going Critical Care Anesthesiologist. I am 2 years away from the MCAT and applying to Med-School! Current EMT with 10 yrs of patient care & 13 years of firefighting- also 32 years old since August of this year! It’s never too late to achieve another level in life✊🏽 See you on the other side in about 6 years✌🏽⏰🍾🏋🏾‍♀️

this is amazing! I've been watching you, Dr. Webb, ever since your 3rd year of residency. I've loved all of your content, especially the doctor interview series (one of the first of its kind). I now really enjoy the content you've made about the business behind medicine, especially the overhead of starting your own practice. I am looking forward to this series and so happy for how far you've come at this point!

Gonna definitely try to do the salad for lunch thing this next week! In the hospital there really is just so much junk food, not only in the cafeteria but the snacks they give residents are basically always chips and candy - things that make you feel worse during the day overall. Really enjoyed the convo between you guys. My only feedback in case you are interesting is possibly just adding a little bit of background music and maybe considering doing some more cuts for the down time (I did see you did some in the middle)!

Dr Webb, I really love your videos. I’m a fan so I hope you’re not offended. You’d really benefit from hiring a personal trainer. Your uneven grip on the lat pull down gives away a lot about your gym experience. It’ll help you from getting hurt in the gym and keep you in good condition for all those surgeries.

Awesome insight into what's going on "behind the scenes!" Time management, exercise, and planning is key! Great job! Anesthesiologists... how do they work with sleep apnea patients during and after surgery now days?
@sarahcrain8083
@sarahcrain8083 2 жыл бұрын
Dee Dee I am no doctor but as a sleep apnea patient with 4 surgeries since May of 2021. I am instructed to bring my CPAP to the hospital with me. If needed once I am in recovery, the nurse will get it from my husband in the waiting room. If not, and I am admitted my CPAP stays in my room to be used as I would use it at home. The nurses will have respiratory therapy come by to set it up. For patients having surgeries that do not require general anesthesia, their CPAP can be setup for use in the operating room.

Love this content. My mom is in hospice, was at deaths door when I had to make the decision to begin the process, has been to doctors her entire life, medicine cabinet was full of prescriptions, heart medication, cholesterol, blood thinners, prescription antacids, etc... you name it. She broke her hip, developed dementia & after hospice began, I have taken her off all meds. She's in hospice (at home) without any meds, 18 months now and seriously, she is improving over the past few months, I believe she may even not qualify for hospice care on her next evaluation. Didn't need any of those meds. My point, not to disregard all meds, but to emphasize healthy diet and life style.

In my opinion when it comes to supplements you really only need GOOD quality supplement such as vitamin C, probiotics and omega 3s. Please don't buy Jamison supplements those are super crap! Health food stores are great for finding better quality supplements talk to them and they can help you find supplements that are good but not expensive.
