I love this message. ❤ I totally identify with the idea of going on holiday somewhere and leaving your spirit there and only the empty shell returned. My journey to escape to paradise has begun, it just hasn’t been realised yet. Matter of time. Walking and working daily towards it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences on this @theAfricanJumbee. Too many of us are going through this and are regularly discouraged in much the same way you related this back to the story of Christopher Columbus and this naysayers. I hear naysayers all the time: “What if you get there and you don’t like it?”, “What if you get there and you cant sustain the lifestyle”, “You do know it’s a third world country, don’t you?” “What you gonna do with your house here?”, “there’s a language barrier, how are you gonna cope?” Blah blah. I’ve heard all sorts and I’m still convicted in my decision to move. It just so happens my personality also means I need to make sure things are aligned before I make the leap. I fear abject failure so just moving without having things set up definitely is making the process longer for me.

You are doing it the right. Please don't move until you are ready. Spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and financially. Once you have everything in place, you will know. You will realize your dreams

@@theafricanjumbee4057tha k you for the support sir. That’s why I’m preparing. Right now, the main thing is to figure out a way to sustain the lifestyle as I know finding jobs out there is not easy. If a business idea could be nurtured and will sustain, then I will say that I am ready. I’ll be there later this summer to scope potential micro business ideas. Also, thanks for all the business ideas you share with us. Every single one is appreciated. They’re uplifting.

Xodus House was fixed up beautifully by the now owner, Renae. Renae is in the sea moss business. You have a good business sense I would like to know your impression of the establishment as I want to check it out.

I am very excited to hear you I felt exactly like you I was there something explain it in words people the environment really feels like home a lot of people try to tell me why you are going to Medina Anat and I explained to them heaven is in Tanzania and not anywhere else I intend to return to start a business I am still debating which business and it is difficult For me to decide, I want to live there financially peacefully

This is very emotional and I am at this moment right now. I have been dreaming about tanzania in my dreams for a while, I have someone out there but unsure. I am not travelling single. I have 2 young children so for me it is not easy at all. I have other places in mind too. I would love some advice. God is pushing me to leave and start anew.

Take your time, do your research, and then choose the right country for you and your family. Look into housing Visas Healthcare Transportation Monthly budget And safety. All of these things must be looked into before you move to any particular African country
