strange, I didnt see any option to go to a main menu or quit the pack in games to make it open the cartridge you inserted. Seems like they need better instructions maybe

so I watched another video on this device, and it looks like you have to hit the menu button a second time when in the game options, it does not seem intuitive at all, and they did not include that detail in the quick start guide. Seems like a big miss IMO from Blaze

I did figure it out afterwards. Its not so bad really, but it works way different from how their VS console handles carts which was why I was confused.

Yeah, the VS will automatically show all available games, so coming from that I see how this could be confusing at first. Aside from the shoulder buttons it's pretty nice. Most of these games don't use them, but still it was kind of a weird choice to push them in from the back.

No, you don't. We've been over this with the Game Gear and ghettoblasters. Swapping out a dozen batteries every twenty minutes was expensive, annoying and bad for the environment. What you want is a standardized swapable lithium battery. Many vapes and flashlights settled on the 18650 which is slightly bigger than a AA battery. There is absolutely no reason why you can't have the best of both worlds save for planned obsolescence and corporate greed.

@@Sashko_Dee Game gear I didn't own because as a kid I already knew that issue. Gameboy was fine. Gameboy can last a while just fine. Corporate greed isn't going to stop LOL. You think game companies care bout us? You are using youtube which is full of corporate greed. Don't tell me what to enjoy or not while you are using devices, entertainment and sites that are all popular by corporate greed. My portable CD player still works from 1999 and the other one from 2001 on one double A battery for 36 hours playing CDs and FM/AM Radio. My phone don't last a day. My flip phone battery last me 3 weeks over a smart phone so I went back. I'll take that kind of battery life. I'm not anti rechargeable batteries. I'm anti knowing that this battery sucks and eventually makes this stuff dead. My Sony Cassette walkman runs on 1 battery as well for over 40 hours. My kindle newest one on a charge has lasted me 6 weeks reading. I'm not anti . I'm pro using the best way. The planet ain't going to fix itself until we are a race are gone as a whole. Greed and ego of men have been around thousands of years before us and will continue well after.
