Yea Brother call it a slam ,that was a lot of fun I'm sure ,dang tarpon, just a tip JC.use a smaller Bobber like a freshwater little cigar float . either the peg style or the clip on .I use the weighted ones so I can cast further, my hook up and LAND ratio has trippled ,less resistance when I set the hook ,,Thanks for sharing brother Tight Lines

I haven't fished with them a lot, but have caught some good fish with them, Snook, Snapper, Sheepshead, Whiting and Pompano. They are holding up fine.

I pretty much lock down the drag when I'm close to structure and the loosen it up once I get the big fish out more in the open water.

Thanks for watching and commenting. The fish swam off strong, you must not have heard what I said in the video? Redfish are extremely resilient compared to Snook and they usually take of instantly when released. I edit these videos and could have left that part out. I intentionally left it in there.

redfish are very hearty, that fish swam off strong, I watched him. I even said in the video he swam off strong.

@@RadReelingFishing I love your videos man but it’s not even just that red it’s every fish you catch, even it’s a small one.. those are future breeders. As an angler we all know what the “he swam off strong card” is that red definitely did not swim off strong.
