replacing mirrors with cameras + screens is such a great idea, wouldn't be surprised if this the standard in the future

Thank you for your comment! I think the choice will be up to the buyer, because this is still a very basic technology and it is not as reliable as regular mirrors! If the truck manufacturer can improve these cameras (I am not talking about monitors because there are no questions about them) so that they show equally well at minus 20 and plus 40 degrees and have a guarantee of at least 5 years, then they can be put into operation! Now they last a maximum of 2 or 3 years and already work poorly. :)

I have tried a truck with those kind of mirrors and it is definitely a learning experience. For example, i can't move my head to see more of my blind spots. One positive is that the mirrors doesn't block your view of traffic.

These sounds are made by the ABS system! Because sometimes there is an error with this system on the trailer! I'm already tired of looking for the cause of this problem. @@TransitZone I get your point, traditional mirrors have their whole style (especially the chrome or painted ones) - but those clumsy mirrors are creating a tremendous blind spot for the driver. A whole cyclist can hide behind it, or even a whole group of people lined up with the mirrors... To take those imposing things away you create a desperate needed overview from the cab.

If I rate the level of ride comfort inside the tractor, it is 10/10. When compared with other well-known brands of trucks of this line and year of manufacture, the design is 10/10. If we compare the number of minor breakdowns and electronics bugs, this truck does not reach some of its competitors - 7/10

Serious question. I'm from the States. If I wanted to move to a different country like Netherlands, would I be able to land a job in trucking? I already haul fuel here in California.

It depends on what citizenship you have and what documents you have! If you are a Citizen of the United States of America and have an American CDL, then you will have to obtain a work permit and obtain a license with categories C+E with the European code 95 entered! But earnings in Europe are much lower than earnings in the USA

Obrigado pelo seu comentário! Na Europa você também pode encontrar trechos de estradas ruins e isso depende do país para onde estou viajando! Também haverá boas estradas no seu país, mas isso pode acontecer quando forem estradas com portagem. Porque na Europa todos os camiões pagam por cada quilómetro. Estradas livres são coisa do passado. can you add 6900 horsepower mod into your DAF truck, I believe your version of ETS2 with RTX would be able to handle it. (be careful or u would be out of the map with that horsepower xd)
