Yeah he’s quite disrespectful I know he’s not well but to leave everyone hanging not knowing whether he’s alive or dead. He’s a bit out of order really. I hope he’s well but I’ve been worried about him. I actually asked big Fish lad Paul if he had heard anything, and he said yes he’s fine he’s lying off the fish hobby for awhile and concentrating on his family. That’s what he told me,but couldn’t mick have just said that to his followers himself. I find it a bit weird to be honest, and I’m quite annoyed with him. All the best.👍

Oh dang Mick, I was having issues with constant acid reflux myself I was leaving me with a sore throat I changed my diet started taking those apple cider vinegar gummies I think that fixed me I'm still watching myself. I'm glad your ok 👍

I know exactly what symptoms you are talking about, i have the same acid reflux but caused by IBS rather than a hernia so i can really relate to this, you`re doing the right thing by getting it sorted as it can turn serious if left untreated. Thanks mate. I have ibs as well I think they are all linked. I have recently started the low FODMAP diet and hoping that helps. My acid reflux is lost better sense the opp but still have a very sensitive stomach. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

Small world, came to another video of yours to remember how to pull the aquastop valve apart on the FX6 and saw this. I was diagnosed with the Hiatus Hernia about two months ago. Different story from yours. I had some breathing problems and I was convinced acid reflux was the reason, they went and had a look with an endoscopy (no sedation available at the time and it was quite the experiencing being an hour long and taking over 20 biopsies). They found the Hiatus Hernia. I do not get your symptoms so they are not likely to fix it through surgery. Unfortunately for me the acid reflux damaged my oesophagus very badly. The body is a wicked piece of kit though and so to prevent further damage it turned my oesophagus into stomach lining. This prevents further damage but they are abnormal cells and considered "pre cancerous" this additional condition is called "Barret's oesophagus" so Proton Pump Inhibitor medication for life and at least one endoscopy per year. Suspect I gave myself the Haitus Hernia lifting really heavy weights, love the strength training and will never stop. C'est la vie. Really glad your surgery went well and you are on the mend (if not mended already). Hope the symptoms have gotten better.

Hey mate yea very annoying symptoms the throat clearing and reflux is gone but it has done something to my stomach. The doctors are doing lots of test on me atm. Really affects your life mate no one understands. Hope you get it sorted bud

Yeah it must’ve been a major job to do that and I hope everything found good homes. I thought before his op he was doing quite a bit and expanding his page Just thought he was taking his time recuperating after his surgery. He obviously has his personal reasons as it isn’t something you would give up lightly when you have built up the set ups he has. His health and well being comes first as does his family. All the best to them for the future. A wee announcement for those not on his FB page would’ve been nice though.

I had the same symptoms cough like crazy and then bringing acid up and food, its almost like the stomach cannot dissolve the food no matter how small the amount I ate, and the saliva was causing the cough which then in return made me bring up acid and food sometimes. It has since gone away after dieting and only eating meat, I cut out all sugar and carbs to a very minimum like non existence and in smaller meals so not to stretch the stomach. Problem has gone now that's the main thing. Hope you recovered quickly.

Hey mate thanks for the message. It’s been 4 months since the surgery. The reflux is getting better slowly but I have been on a real bland diet and no booze at all. The only problem is now that I get a lot of gas build up I’m hoping this is going to get better with time. Absolutely horrible thing to have and also r ally hard to explain it to someone who doesn’t have it 👍🏻

Long term you can get restricted esophageal narrowing, and your swallowed food gets stuck going down. I have taken H2 blockers (cuts all acid production) as a fix for years.

I have been very unwell. I made the decision to sell all my fish and tanks as I had no longer the energy and health for them. One of the hardest decisions I have ever made. I am hoping to get back in to the hobby as soon as I’m 100% it’s been the hardest year of my life. I will post a video about it soon.
