No, the mistake people make is thinking immortality means you can't be killed or destroy yourself. If you're immortal you can still be killed. Invincibility is where you can't be killed. Immortal just means you'll live forever, IF you aren't killed. Take a vampire for example. They will live forever. But they can still be killed.

Not entirely. Take for example Raven from Guilty Gear, he can resurrect from straight up ashes. He's got a dull and emotionless personality, and at the point he is the only thing that can rouse any sort of emotion from him is pain so he likes getting hurt. That's the likely endgame for infinite life, the only arousal of any feeling would be from pain.

Actually immortal technically means live forever, not being indestructible, while you wouldn’t die of old age or desease, more physical harm, such as stab wounds, or bullet holes, would cause damage.

I agree with the part of feeling pain, but having stab wound and bullet holes would literally oppose the fact of living forever, because that way we could cut out your heart or brain and you would die (or have no consciousness of life at all), because I'f you want to be immortal you would need to have cells that would live forever without dying in any way, to keep the body functioning, and you technically would die of old age because of cells not being able to work anymore and with deseases you would die because your body couldn't fight it anymore and the bacteria or virus would keep killing the cells, but if they never died your body would fend them off easily, so if your skin cells died then that means that the cell wouldn't live forever when you need them to live forever
