I loved that, never stop being who you are and never stop shouting from the rooftops in what you believe. Just because we don't celebrate it the same way our grandparents or parents did doesn't make it any less important to us. The haters will hate and they will never understand meaning behind belonging and identity. They have none. I love you could put into words what alot of us feel. G-d bless you on your journeys through life, he has given you a special path.

@JabberwockJudy he wasnt saying tatoos and treif meat at a party on shabbat are jewish.... he is merely describing the situation and irony of people at a party on shabbat taking the cheese off the meat because no matter how far removed someone may be from practicing judaism, there is always a spark there that connects him to judaism.

Andrew, thank you for sharing your heart with all of us. It's sad reading the comments you've had from some. And in response I you to know you have lots of friends out here - Christian friends - who love you just because of who you are. Clearly the Christian camp is divided, and it's tragic. But thousands of us still read the Scriptures exactly the way they're written, without rethinking ... and they tell us clearly who you are. And we love you. ...PS So does He.

Julia - actually we started that way, when originally sent out of Egypt in 1500 BCE. We always had variety in our identities - 12 tribes and all. By 70 CE, the end of the Second Commonwealth, all our tribes had been expelled out of the Land of Israel to new locations throughout the world. (Because the expulsion took place in stages we wound up getting scattered rather than relocating to one region.)

Wow, I learned a good bit from this video, however, I still would love to know so much more. I've always been curious about the jewish faith. I am a christian and I am black. The video made me think more of my ethnicity than my religion though. It's so interesting how you're people were suppressed and mine were too, but society still sees Jewish people as a higher (for lack of a better term) entity. The video was very nice and I applaud every aspect of judaism that you touched on.
