Tokyo Dome is not only baseball, but also a lot of events like concerts etc. Actually NJPW, the biggest wrestling company from Japan also have their “Wrestlemania” there. Btw love this save, as someone who lives in Japan and follow Japanese football I was really waiting for this and I’m loving every seconds! Oh also Nankatsu is not just owned by the mangaka of Captain Tsubasa but also is the actual team where Tsubasa played at the beginning of the manga
@nysiy53607 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing this cool detail. :) Was Yōichi Takahashi a player of Nankatsu or how is he related to the club? I assume that he became the owner after his manga, correct?

so the situation with tokyo united is, like a lot of lower league teams, they'll play their home games at different venues depending on expected attendances and what's available, as they're the reserve team of a JFL side. the former is also true of tokyo 23 (though they're not a reserve team) and they share a lot of the same venues! you were actually in the right place first time, but the wrong pitch - it's the auxiliary sports field to the north west of the complex also lmao knew you were at the tokyo dome immediately
@azaminene14257 ай бұрын
yep, tokyo united are not a reserve team anymore though. they were till Tokyo Musashino or now that theyve gone back to their old name rebranded. they are gearing up for a change to allow them a J.League license

Damn, your rivals play near the Imperial Palace of the Emperor of Japan AND the Tokyo Dome. That's wild as hell! You go down the highway just a little and the Imperial Palace is right next door, while the Tokyo Dome is in the SAME PARK FACILITY.
@azaminene14257 ай бұрын
So the Komazawa No1 stadium means its the stadium next to the actual stadium. think of it like at the tennis or some football academy, its one of the outside pitches that surround the main stadium.

This will come across as quite pedantic but with Kim Jin-Hyuk, Jin-Hyuk is actually his first name not his second (Koreans lay names out when writing them in reverse of how we do in the west) so if you are referring to him by his Family name (we would say last name) it would be Kim.
@haggsy7 ай бұрын
idk for sure but i think this rule also exists in a lot of asian countries, japan and china at least too
@AbA-wk7yp7 ай бұрын
Sometimes they flip their name when been translated to English to avoid people calling their given name instead of their family name. That's why sometimes people write/say Ji-sung Park instead of Park Ji-sung as example. If you include Southeast Asia as East Asia, some countries and race follow Chinese naming rule, some follow western, some have royal bloodline or tribes title/name in front of their given name, some don't have family name.
@sarathguttikonda40657 ай бұрын
In India too most of us write the family name first and the Name 2nd it depend. For me its mostly family name- name on all of my education records and official data but yeah sometimes I write my Name first and family name 2nd on any resume. It depends

26:51 funny you should say that, it reminds me about 300 million yen robbery that I first read in a manga called Montage. The robbery is a real one tho, it happened in Tokyo on 1986 or 1968. Google 300 million yen robbery, it's a good read.

The 300 million yen robbery (三億円事件, San Oku En Jiken), also known as the 300 million yen affair or incident, was a robbery that occurred on December 10, 1968 in Tokyo, Japan. A man posing as a police officer on a motorcycle stopped bank employees transferring money and stole 294 million yen.
