Well look at her parents aren't they just to amazing people in the universe..I would think there Jenes would shine out in her... born with such ambition an amazing drive to see reality an Express her self in overcoming what alot of us really couldnt...what a true inspiration to many with an outcome intellectually uplifting even the bravest of us.. with one song... if she only knew how many people that song has touched...she would be just as famous as Michel jackson.. with the majority the song has processed..dont ever stop expressing yourself for no one! Is what I would say to her.. you were born beautiful...stay beautiful..always. even through the anrwryness...you'll make it..just dont ever give up! Even when you do..theres still hope you just gotta get a back pack an go look for it...God will provide.trust believe and achive...good luck an God bless!

I am showing this to my daughter who is turning 12 this year. Willow, if you ever look at these comments, know that you are a gift to humanity in these TRYING times. More people need to be brave enough to just be who they are and people need to ACCEPT that. This is a huge task...I truly believe WE can do it, I know it just takes time. Three years ago I watched this video when I was going through a tough time at 59. Now going to be 63 in August, I watched it today and it made me cry. This little girl is all grown now but when she came to this earth she brought an Angel with her in her Soul. The words in her song freed me from my many years of oppressed thinking. She helped me see that I was always free but just didn't believe. She gave me permission to say "I Am Me and that's all I can be" and that is enough for me. God Bless you all grown up now little Willow Smith . May Peace always follow you wherever your life takes you. God Bless you and always keep you.

Willow Smith Lyrics Play "I Am Me" "I Am Me" I'm me, I'm me, and that's all I can be I'm me, I'm me, here's my vulnerability I'm free and you can't stop me I'm free and that's all I can be Days pass, I'm tryna find who I really am (I've been lookin') People don't like the way I dress, or where I am at (I've been lookin') I dye my hair and it's not just vanity (I've been lookin') Your validation is just not that important to me I'm me, I'm me, and that's all I can be I'm me, I'm me, here's my vulnerability I'm free and you can't stop me I'm free, I'm me, and that's all I can be Night falls and I find it's here I am in peace (I've been lookin') Making friends with spirits lost and it sets me free (I've been lookin') Express myself, 'cause it's my liberty (I've been lookin') Your validation is just not that important to me I'm me, I'm me, and that's all I can be I'm me, I'm me, here's my vulnerability I'm free and you can't stop me I'm me, I'm free, and that's all I can be I am me, I am me, I am me I am free, I am free, I am free I am me, I am me, I am me I am free, I am free I am me, I am me, I am me I am free, I am free, I am free I am me, I am me, I am me I am free, I am free Ohhhhhhhhhh Create yourself, redo yourself, renew yourself Be you, do what you do Hold your head up high, everything's gonna be alright You're you, I'm me, let's live in harmony Coexist with each other, love each other Be yourself, you have to be yourself Be real, be honest 'Cause ain't nobody got time for that They really don't So listen to me, listen to this song 'Cause this is real facts, that will help you move along Yeah That's all I wanted to say, so I love you guys so much Hope you like this song and you know Yolo Misfits Ahh, haha Editwow thank for all the likes

are ppl REALLY judging her appearance? dude SHE AINT LOOKING FOR ANYONES VALIDATION. listen to the song, she dressed like that to not show that shes all about an appearance, she is speaking from her heart, spreading love, guess what I CALL THAT BEAUTIFUL. this girl is a beautiful spirit, watch this then commenting hate is rooted from insecurities. like she says "you're you, im me, lets live in harmony, co-exist with eachother, love eachother, be yourself, be real." this is a beautiful song, if anyone has anything negative to say, then theyre just relecting their own insecurities and making it obvious of how much of a close minded person you are.

she not gay she was making a fashion statement and her mother said,"girls are constantly reminded that they don't belong to themselves; that their bodies are not their own, nor their power, or self determination. I made a promise to endow my little girl with the power to always know that her body, spirit, and her mind are HER domain. Willow cut her hair because her beauty, her value, her worth is not measured by the length of her hair. It's also a statement that claims that even little girls have the RIGHT to own themselves and should not be a slave to even their mother's deepest insecurities, hopes, and desires. Even little girls should not be a slave to the preconceived ideas of what a culture believes a little girl should be. More to come. Another day."

Chris Garcia why does it matter how she looks honestly
@1985mtv10 жыл бұрын
Chris Garcia she's just androgynous... you do realize this is a 10 year old kid, correct? her father's name is will and she is named after him. her mother's name is jada and her brother is named jaden. it's clear gender stereotypes aren't relevant to their family. a child is owning who she is, being a solid future role model.

Amy Aldous-i am sorry dear heart i know a girl in my apartment complex name cori and her dad is big cori well everybody around here call him that and she is straight as a board and love herself some domani harris (rapper) tip harris's son she is a big fan so i doubt seriously if that's to be believed this child is twisted and confused by choice and her parents are no better fucking everything walking and talks it's a mess

It's a crying shame that ADULTS find it okay to bully children. Act your age and not your shoe size. Elementary and High School behavior needs to be left in the past. Adults are the worst bullies out there! The immaturity level in some adults is at an all time high.

Some of these comments are making me sick. Here, is a song by a 13 year old who is expressing her feelings, and all people can do is tell her to be more girly and critisize her parents, how about you listen to her lyrics instead of being so judgemental.

By the time she's 20 she will have so much confidence because she has explored so many different parts of herself so early. She won't be perfect, because this world doesn't allow you to be. She will have a clearer mind though.

Every since I heard this song and saw the video, my life has changed. I used to wear what was kool at the moment and stuff and say things that people thought was kool at the moment ( like Bruh, 21, and that kind of stuff) but this song showed me that I can still be kool ... with being myself and there will never be a limit to that.
