It's so mentally ill how people think age matters in games. You have Lebron James that's going to be in the NBA until he's 40+ one of the most fast-paced mechanically intensive games to ever exist, but they think suddenly if you're over 25 in eSports you're washed. The older pro's all seem 'washed' because they're burnt out and don't care about the game anymore/have let their skills decay, because they were playing insane schedules and grinding for almost no money 10-15+ years ago. They just got tired after a while, and some of the older guys were never that good from the start and just got in early.

True, although things like reaction time do decrease with age, but what you mentioned is probably a bigger contributor.

@@lucasmcguire1554 Yeah, it's just such a small decrease, especially in relatively healthy adults (which eSports is becoming much more health/fitness centric now). It's just hard to find a 28 year old with the drive of a 16 year old that's getting told me has the chane to make a living playing games.

There are some exceptions, very few, but most of the time in sports its those players who were known for pace or bodystrengh that decrease harder, than players known for technical abilities or gameknowledge, kinda like macro in league.
