It was unfair how much she chose put her son through so much everything his father has put her through. Considering J.R was gone she felt the need to take out her revenge against John Ross for everything J.R. has put her through knowing he was his son. She should've just minded her own business and not get tangled up of what John Ross was doing ruining his marriage with Pamela and it should've occurred the kind of person Pamela was as she herself had skeletons in her closet too as she went out of her way with Christopher. It was unfair to punish John Ross for all the terrible things his father put her through and she couldn't let that go...

You know, it kills me when people say this. People always have to act so self-righteous all the time, and it makes me sick. I felt sorry for John Ross in this scene. He was right, his mother was wrong this time. But his mother ALWAYS had a drinking problem, hell she drank when she was pregnant with John Ross too. I'm tired of people in this family lecturing John Ross on things that he does, but they don't do it to themselves. Everybody in this family has done something scandalous.

And before he became the son of JR, he was actually a pretty decent person, but when Elena didn't show up, that's when any heart he ever had just fell out. If you didn't want to be with John Ross, you should have said it to his face instead of having her mother do it for you. Then to make matters worse is Christopher and Elena flaunted their new relationship right it front of him. That breakup, and the flaunting of their new relationship gave John Ross MOTIVE to get his revenge on BOTH of them.
