It always amuses me when Daily Mail readers say 'prison is too easy'. To the average person who has responsibilities to family etc , it must be stressful to the max.

For anyone out there who reads crime books or has an interest in crime you have to read Kevins book fitted up and fighting back it is absolutely beyond words how they played around with the evidence, and totally fitted him up all basically because he wouldn’t pay a bent old bill money on the side who in later years got 7 years in jail while still working in the old bill ( fraud ) , just by chance I met Kevin a while ago he’s an absolute gentleman an great company, how I met him was he was running a food bank stall giving up his time to help others , this shows you the measure of the man ,and this is something he never brings up unlike most people who love to tell the world of there so called good deeds , lastly how he’s managed to keep his head straight after all the time behind the door is beyond words considering he’s totally innocent , I have the upmost respect for you Kevin mate

Kevin Lane is a most interesting and charismatic man. I have just bought "Fitted up and Fighting Back" book, and I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into it. James English, you are a very talented man, and you have done a great job in bringing Kevin's story out and presenting this video for us all to enjoy. Thank you.

So beautiful to hear Kevin speaking the truth "as usual" what a man....!!! 💪 as they come mentally & physically!!! It's nice to hear him say he'd have done his 20 again rather than the recall as "ironically" I'd do my 20 again, as a pose for numerous reasons, it is horrific!!! 18 month's for a BB gun in someone else's car, nearly turned me into a lifer!! Love Kevin truest of gentlemen!!! And no way he did this crime.... Great stuff James 👏 Kev 💙💙💙

I have been in prison for 8 years and I have never heard someone who has been in prison say; prison is easy. And ; prison is having your freedom taken away and this is the punishment of being in there. And; it's the same as the people who say that money doesn't make you happy.... I have never heard someone who hasn't got money say this. Would you be happier with nothing and sitting on a mikcrate eating cold beans or sitting on a chesterfied and eating a food of your choice ?

genuine tough man, old school values as in stand his ground against anybody and more than likely close the show quick, yet it would be hard to see ths man targeting anyone for nothing, ths man has class stamped all over him in the way he views how to treat people, u can be a good man who is put in the wrong situation and its jus in your make up to meet a threat head on , not that i believe he did what is accused of him, godbless him i hope all the best awaits him, make no mistake there are plenty of folks who would respect ths man for the way he conducts himself. only one persons opinion i kno but we are all entitled to it.

AAA is Cat A Exceptional High Risk. FFS is Matthew Williams still inside (escaped from Parkhurst in January 1995)?! I last saw him in Frankland in 2001, clever bloke. I was Cat B, and spent my whole sentence in Dispersals, even got released from Whitemoor! When I got out in 2002, my complaint, with the Prison Ombudsman, went back to 1998, hundreds of letters stolen (and that was the least of it, I was in the block for 2 years on a pack of lies). They ruled in my favour 2 weeks after my release! Good to see you Kev, I hope you're still out mate, you're making me feel old! Hard work dealing with those big plastic shields. Don't the cameras always go missing?! Sorry to hear about Robbie Hyland :( I talk to John Bowden most days, released after 45 years, in the middle of the pandemic. I used to brew hooch after I got out in '81 (we used to use raisins in those days). Your hooch is mentioned on my security file Kev! 😁🍻Mark Barnsley

You have to dig deep to stay on your feet in prison. If your doing big jail it's not just one thing that you survive by. You live day by day best way you can, wits. If you have a date that's you first bit of hope, it's a starting point, it's what you do with this opportunity that decides your next move. First have a look at the dates on other prisoner's card's, that's your incentive to get out. It actually helps if you've no bird outside while you're doing it inside ☘️

Had the pleasure of meeting Kevin a couple times now and all I can say is he’s a lovely fella down to earth and a great laugh. See him at a family wake he did get a bit jealous cos all the birds that were there were on me 😉😂
