Movie turns 10 today! I remember my older sister and I saw it together. There was a lot of dragging but I'm happy it kicked into high gear in the third act. Michael Bay did produce so you recognize the action elements. Happy that unlike Twilight the romance angle wasn't ham fisted here. This was my first introduction to Alex Pettyfer and Teresa Palmer. I only knew Dianna Agron from Glee fame. I wish the villains were more intimidating though and didn't come across as goofy. It stinks we didnt get more sequels; the reviews were middling at best and the box office returns weren't high enough despite it making $150 million. It took me a minute to realize the same writers here also did Smallville. Director DJ Caruso is a good talent but it's a shame he didn't have a year to get through pre-production and editing. Maybe it'll be remade as a tv series in the future. That could balance things out better.

Lol. Flashlight hands. This movie wasn't terrible but it wasn't great. Had a boring plot the action scenes were so so. I personally give this movie a definate rental

Out of all the dumb as Tween dramas.... it was a rental UNTIL Michael Bay said fuck this the boyfriend that have to suffer bringing their girls to this love movie need entertainment too...... "take down this set they say.... naw here's an extra 20 million BLOW THIS BITCH UP!!!!!!". CAPTAIN MATINEE !!

i saw this movie. and the part where the main charater goes to high school, i only saw one black person, it might've been the only one in this whole movie.

Indeed Eagle Eye had solid pacing, but I thought it might have been the most poorly shot and edited action movie I've seen in the past 10 or so years.
