I hate to admit it but I can not think of any company out there right now offering a top of the line bike model with complete duraace di2 and also top of the line dt swiss wheels with dt 180 hubs for 7700, every other company out there will usually be offering rival or ultegra at that price point without carbon bar or sub par wheels, I think the bike industry has a lot of catching up to do and need to do something to compete with canyon in terms of pricing because right now they have that edge, I think if the industry gets close within realm of it you can compare the tradeoffs to it and more debates would happen but right now it is hard for anyone looking at a bike right now not to have a canyon model at the top of there list because of budget alone

Great value bike!!! They no longer offer these bikes at this price point, or they're no longer available in my country, Australia. I bought last year's Aeroad CFR (AUS$10,900.00) and was almost tempted to go with the Endurace CFR instead, which was around the same price but they didn't have the Endurace in XL.

As a Scott dealer you should know that the 2025 Scott Addict 10 is 6500 USD /€. You even have some money left to buy a decent Power Meter. There are some competitors in this price range, that are not consumer direct brands like Canyon.

@@lukasb.5679- Canyon sell lower end carbon bikes too. This Canyon CFR is their special light weight carbon frame - it’s a tier above the Scott Addict 10 😊

@@GCPerformance18 6 ft with a 33 inseam. I bought a Grail so the reach geometry might be a little different than the Endurance. I read every reddit post and internet forum and it's pretty consensus their online size calculator is correct.

Large 2023 Canyon Endurace CF SLX 7 Di2 owner here. 6'2 (188cm) and 34" (87cm) inseam. Bike fits me perfectly. I also love the adjustable bar width. Rode it for a year thinking that 40mm was the narrowest, then watched a video that got me wondering, and sure enough, it could go to 38cm. Adjusted them to that and it's great! Also removed all the spacers.

@diehardbikes
@diehardbikes 2 сағат бұрын
21mm internals definitely does not mean it's heavy. These particular wheels aren't particularly light, certainly not for your weight weenie, but certainly nothing to complain about, as they are right about 1500 grams. Thats decent enough. Weight isn't the goal of this bike anyways. Even so, you saw it came out to 16 pounds, which is lighter than most!
@laurenz323
@laurenz323 8 минут бұрын
@@diehardbikes and i thought wider is lighter. At the end you buy a high end bike where is would never go for dt swiss. There are better options. But its still a good wheel, sure

That's a helluva buy! 12 speed Dura Di2 with a power meter, DT Swiss 180 hubs (full ceramic), a one piece bar stem, and a wide tire clearance - now that's music to my ears. So it's basically a Specialized SL8 at 50% off. Talk about bonkers! Lighten it up with titanium hardware and carbon thru axles if you must. Other upgrades I'd consider down the road are a ceramic bb and pulleys. Personally if I lived in Florida I'd go with more of an aero bike for fast straight line speed (no mountains and everything is flat). But, you're half way there as that bike has internal routing and an aero bar. One thing no one has mentioned is 32 to 35mm tires are excellent for gravel racing. And that's the hidden bonus with this bike. But, most folks won't go there and that's fine. But, if you do then this bike is going to take you to new locales.

1 day we will see dropper posts on endurance road bikes. Sounds pointless for a road bike but I have seen many benefits like: easier to get on off the bike, low centre of gravity for downhill gives much better control, more grip and an extremely aero dynamic position similar to sitting on the top tube. Also the bike packs down easier into a car. Last of all you can get the seat out of the way when standing up and pedalling, meaning you can lean back more for more power.

Bike industry can't get their sizing to make sense. They should name their 52cm bikes medium. I am 5'10, 178cm. Logic dictates If I get a size medium T-shirt, I should get a size medium bike. 51/52cm bike fits me better than a 54, but no bike brand call their 52cm bike medium. Different brands have different sizing recommendations, some just flat out wrong.

@@GCPerformance18 I been to two different bike fitters because my insurance covers it as physical therapy. They all recommend size 52 to me. Regular sizing is way too large. It's always better to fit a 12cm stem with a small bike than 8cm stem on a medium frame. It handles better, and small frame is lighter. And 52cm bike usually comes with 170cm crank, which is much better than 172.5cm for me on top of the pedal stroke. But I still changed them to a 165cm crankset for a even better fit.

Let's be honest... Most men can't fathom being told they need a SMALL. I've seen small guys on larges. It's absolutely comical. Most dudes need a medium and are always on a large with enduring wrist and hand pain they just can't get their little ego to figure out.
