This 7.18 thing is lighter than the SL7 S-works with Ultegra Di2 and Roval CLX.. But a 54t 1x? Man, he is looking for trouble the moment he leaves FL for any climbs.. This guy could actually go sub 7kg for show.. There's these stupid light starfish shape brake rotors from Taiwan that is half the weight of those Dura Ace Ice Tech... then the last possible magic is TPU instead of tubeless.. One more thing.. i notice during sound test.. the crankarm won't pedal itself.. don't tell me he is running stock bb30

I like this color, but unfortunately the bike looks like it was welded from two separate parts after an accident 😒
@SamuelBlackMetalRider
@SamuelBlackMetalRider 20 сағат бұрын
Specialized did it on purpose so that it wouldn’t be confused as a carbon frame. They deliberately chose to NOT smooth the welding parts which is totally feasible. Thus with say black gloss paint an aluminum frame with smooth welds looks like a carbon frame

Crazy light for an aluminum bike. I have a Giant Contend I’m putting on a diet but just for casual rides. Dumped more than three pounds already but i started over 23 lbs in a large frame. Probably will end up at 18.5 lbs and $3500 all in. Love having a inexpensive bike that rides great and isn’t fragile.

I wish more bicycle shops sold used reconditioned bicycles. Especially for the new rider. I like buying used, but feel many used bicycles are stolen bicycles. Buying used from a shop would feel more legitimate.

The Allez is the bootlegger car of bikes. You can upgrade it and turn it into anything Added a deep 80 rim up front on mine a 55 on the rear, a lighter deep profile carbon fork, negative rise stem, effectively turned mine into a Venge, cooking the road til the clock strikes midnight 🌽 🔥

I think buyer should beware regarding a purchase of this power meter. I have a left right leg power imbalance. I purchased this PM direct from Magene and tested against two pedal based power meters. Garmin Vector DUO and Favero DUO. The left/right balance was off by 10% and not even consistent on the over/under power reading. I requested warranty service and have gotten no response after multiple attempts. Total waste of $300.

I had to Google what crit racing is, love the build you got there did you say there is covers for Shimano bolts? I'm looking to put Shimano tiagra on a folding bike build but might get other chainring for it, estimate to be lighter than Brompton t type with 20" wheels I think with my Trek Emonda ALR 54cm that mainly got as white era design, shame estimate without bottle cage but all else estimate 6.4kg (2x still) I'm sticking to time trial, so at start thought this was carbon

Supacaz tape is too short to reverse wrap bars if you want to cover the bars closer to the stem. But I love how clean it looks to reverse wrap. I use 44 or 46mm bars and the ENVY tape is my favorite due to the extra length compared to other brands.

I had a bike shop in San Francisco for 8 years and we lost bikes to thieves. But usually involved a stolen id and no credit cards. Often the thieves were what I'd call pros. They did it for a living and operated all over Northern California. Once a guy with a baby about 18 months old came in and was looking at bikes. He wanted to try one but says "I don't have any id but I can leave you the baby." I said that would be fine. I took the baby and the guy rode off on the bike. The baby immediately figured out he'd just been traded for a bicycle and went apeshit. I couldn't get him to calm down. People walking by the shop would look in the door and ask me "What's the matter with that baby?" It was five long minutes with a raging baby. Just remember, the effective thief exploits your desire to make some money. Any good scam depends on the greed of the victim.

Totally off the point of the video but I heavily considered these pedals bc I really wanted to use a PM. I use my bike for all sorts of riding and lots of evening short road/gravel rides (5-7 miles), and don't want to use clipless unless it's for a specific longer ride. I chose for my 1x, Sigeyi PM spider + wolf tooth shimano chainring (better chainline) and has been awesome. Also a small bit of weight savings while you're at it (Sigeyi is 101g, my xpedo clipless pedals are 221g = 322g vs. 384g). Just something to consider for other riders out there who may want an alternative to pedal PM. Cost wise should be a little cheaper too iirc, just more work checking for compatibility and install.
