Thank you for your smiley VDO again. I only pinned the restaurants you and other locals recommended. Because I think other places are too touristy. I and my boyfriend are planning to rent a car and drive around Romania and Bulgaria in February, of course, with winter tires and chains. Do you think it’s safe to do that for tourists? There’s very little video about winter road trip in these countries. Most only show Christmas markets or ski resorts.

Thank you too for your support and for watching, it means the world! 🙏🏻❤️❤️ When it comes to Romania 🇷🇴, I think it’s safe to drive in February around the country and it also might depend on the weather because you might not even have snow in most of the regions by that time. The climate changed a lot in Romania, and sometimes it rarely snows and for example, last year, we only had one snow in Bucharest. So from this perspective, it’s super safe. When it comes to Bulgaria 🇧🇬 or other simiral fears tourists might have, I would also say that Romania is a lot safer than many other countries in Europe and that you should not be concerned About any negative experience that you might have as a tourist. we, the locals, are never afraid to walk, or drive in Romania, and I think it’s a pretty safe environment. When it comes to Bulgaria, We mostly visited the seaside deer because it’s very different from the one we have in Romania. when you’re driving Bulgaria, I would suggest not to stop at night if the roads are not illuminated. as an interesting practice, whenever we leave the car, we put all our luggage in the trunk so that they are not seen if someone looks on the window. It is always good to take some extra safety measures such as taking care of your bag at all times or your phone because you will be recognized as being tourists. Both countries are super safe and I hope you will have a great time. Please let me know if I can help you with other information or if there is any particular place from Romania that you would like to see in my KZbin videos.

My wife is from Basov and we have a family flat there about a 10-minute walk from the Black Church. We go back 3-4 times a year and plan to move there full-time in about 3 years. I absolutely love it there! Ursul Carpatin is worth the wait too! We also love sitting in the town square with a cappuccino or a beer and just people watch. We love the food at Cupt'or there.

@Protagorasz You should really go to school but first you should get some new parents that can teach you some , any, trace of decency and sanity . That land has been Romanian for tens of thousands of years while Hungarians are a recent migratory genocidal arrival in Europe and not even Budapest is Hungarian, nor will it ever be. Now take your Nazi nonsense and be silent forever.

You forgot to mention that Brasov was part of Hungary for a thousand years and it is so beautiful city because it was built by Hungarians and Germans as the population of Brasov was about 60% German in the time when Brasov was part of the Hungarian kingdom!
@romeochelaru73082 ай бұрын
Was built by sași/germans,and this city has autonomy în medieval times!
@georgebelakemeny92212 ай бұрын
@@romeochelaru7308 The city's buildings are not older than 200-300 years old at the most. Except for the churches. While the city's populations at those years are close to 30% Romanian, 30% German and 40% Hungarian the leading families of the city were Hungarians and scondarily Germans and the Romanians lived at the edges of the city. So, the town centre, or the old town as it looks today were built by Hungarians and Germans. The city didn't look like this at medival times when most houses were built by wood and mud, hence for the lot of fires in the cities world wide those years!

Ottoman Hungary (Hungarian: Török hódoltság, literally "the Turkish subjugation") encompassed those parts of the Kingdom of Hungary which were under the rule of the Ottoman Empire from the occupation of Buda in 1541 for more than 150 years, until the liberation[1] of the area under Habsburg leadership (1686-1699). The territory was incorporated into the empire, under the name Macaristan.[2] For most of its duration, Ottoman Hungary covered Southern Transdanubia and almost the entire region of the Great Hungarian Plain. What exactly are you talking about?
@georgebelakemeny92212 ай бұрын
@@ioanion5721 Exactly that's my question. What are you talking about? How did the Turkish occupation of Hungary come here?
@goodrecipes2283Ай бұрын
You said that it was Hungar’s for a 1000 years! What 1000 years? You came in Europe from Asia in 895 and it took you 200 years to conquer Transylvania. In 1526 after the battle of Mohacs you lost it to the Ottoman Empire and was a vassal of it until the Austrian empire conquered it from them , Transylvania becoming a region under the direct rule of the emperor. In 1918 the Great Gathering at Alba Iulia voted for the unification of Transylvania with the Kingdom of Romania! The city of Brasov was always led by Saxons and included the 3 suburbs , namely Schei inhabited by Romanians, Brasovechi inhabited by Saxons peasants and Blumana inhabited by Hungarians. As you can see you didn’t lead ever the city of Brasov but lived near it in a suburb of the city as Romanians did. Until the 19th century nobody of different origin than Saxons weren’t allowed to live in the city. Learn real history!
