Hi guys, I'm back with another video!! So, in todays video I sat down to watch episode 7 of the iconic show Stranger Things! As we get closer and closer to the end of the show I still have absolutely no idea how this whole situation is going to be resolved. All I can say is that each episode seems to be getting better and better, and I'm getting more overwhelmed. This episode for example has to be the best episode in Stranger Things history so far. @@emlonie yes, she left prior to the memories that el is reliving! when 001 is telling eleven to remember the memory of the woman (her mom) who came to visit her he says “it was back when 008 was still here” and that’s the only mention of 008/glimpse of her we see. in season 2, 008 gives el similar advice to what 001 gave regarding how to master her powers so it’s presumed that 008 learned from 001.

There were so many amazing theories after this episode. People starting to think maybe it was Vecna who took Will in season 1, and Will survived in the upside down for so long by hiding and singing his favourite song over and over again. If you go back and watch the beginning of episode 1, almost everything points to Vecna. The shape on the road, plus demogorgons can't use telekinesis. The latch came off the door in S1. There's so many amazing theories after VOL1 and it's incredible really

Vecna didn't directly take Will, the demogorgon did however the demogorgon is basically controlled by Vecna cause of the hive mind thing so at the end of the day it has always been Vecna.

The fact that Vecna's voice is really the actor's voice is sooo crazy to me! I watched clips of Jamie IRL and you can hear hints of the low rumbling voice naturally so it's wild to me that he was able to pull off the sweet, kind innocent voice as well 🤯 well done 001!

brad if you remember eleven doesnt know a lot of words in s1 that's because after she sent 001 to the upside down, she lost her memories and kinda all her being too. brenner started to only train her and therefore she used to not remember anything about her mother being alive or that there were other kids like her.

So regarding the Upside Down being in 1983: my thinking is that the Upside Down has existed for ages, but as we see when Henry/001/Vecna gets sent there, it’s an empty hellish landscape. It’s almost a formless void. So flash-forward to Nov 6, 1983, when Eleven made contact with the demogorgon while remote projecting, resulting in the original (permanent) gate to the Upside Down. I think at that moment, the Upside Down suddenly took the form of Hawkins in November of 1983, and now just looks like that.

Back when he was Jace in 2013 i knew he was good but this blew my mind and it was such an affirmating thing to see the WHOLE WORLD sharing their thoughts on how amazing Jaimie is in it. I'm still wondering about this. Because how did Brenner 'create' more of Henry? Was it some DNA stuff or were the kids sorta in a lottery and randomly get the powers? In s1, they say Terry (El's mom) had a bunch of experiments done on her *without* knowing she was pregnant. But with this new info... I'm guessing Henry has allllll the powers and the rest of the kids just had a part of his powers. El just happened to be born with closer ties/stronger powers when it comes to telekinesis.

My guess, because they proved in S2 that Terri has powers as well, that it was slowly developed. While El was in the womb, Terri's power could have transferred to her and developed. It was proven that she could lose her powers, but get them back by using the sensory deprivation tank.

@@lorettabes4553 I think they are actually hinting that the kids at the lab are Henry's direct offspring, probably a result of in vitro fertilizing women during the experiments with mind expanding drugs. That would make Henry El's biological dad, and explain why all the kids have powers (although they might have been split based on the abilities they progressively developed, as Kali and El were together only when they were both very young, and all the kids in El's section had telekinesis). What clashes with this theory is, as @Thegroszkitty mentioned, the fact that Terry also displayed special powers during S2. Either she was born with it or she actually developed them during the experiments. If this theory were correct, I wonder if the reason why Eleven was the most powerful one is because of both her parents having powers. I hope they provide an explanation for this in S5.

The only thing that I paid attention to when rewatching everything is how in S1, the upside down was said to have toxic air, so they went in there with suits. Now they're just waltzing in without a thing and not even coughing like it has been shown before. It's like the air isn't toxic anymore😭

It's my belief that the one ability Henry Creel/One/Vecna still had with the inhibitor chip in place was to brush the minds of other people which is how he was the first to recognize Eleven's true potential and he was the one who released 2-5 from their rooms. Eleven was only able to defeat his hate and disgust with a loving memory achieving her full potential opening the first gate into the Upside Down. Interesting, considering she's only seven or eight years old and Henry was about thirty-two at the time. Pity Eleven lost so much of herself for a time on September 8, 1979, but she's steadily working on getting all of it back.

The lights in the upside down are actually 95% practical effects! They floated pussy willow fluff/spores in the air and used special lights so it was actual little pieces in the air, which is why they float around with the movement of the actors' hands!

i love the henry twist bc i figured 001 was vecna was the orderly pretty early on bc i know the actor's name and saw it in the credits so by the time he showed up as himself i had already assumed he was playing vecna so when he shows up as the orderly talking about 001 i was like OH SO VECNA IS 001 but the henry twist i absolutely did not see coming so that was a fun reveal for me also i just love stories where a child is told by the villain over and over that the secret to great power is hate and rage and the child actually learns that you find greater strength in love instead. eleven's love for her mother is what gave her that surge of power; the angry moments weren't helping her, they were hindering her. love is something these villains will never understand and i just love when the secret to saving everyone is love and friendship!! i will eat that shit up every time!!
