Maybe one of the hardest and most vulnerable things Iv shared online 🙏🏻 Just want to be truly honest with yall, it’s always ways to talk about failures and hardships that are years in the past. But telling it in the depths 🫠

Ay man dont underestimate what a positive influence you've been to a lot of us who don't usually comment. I lost my desire to lift, and improve myself, from age 23-27. straight up if it wasn't for people like You, Omar, Alan thrall, Eric helms, matt ogus, i dont think i wouldve got that spark back.

I love this, Mike! Your channel is one of the reasons I decided to document my competition prep this year. Being vulnerable and uncomfortable is something we have to get used to for ourselves and no one else. I also 100% agree on the cinematic videos distracting from the information in them. Less flash, more substance. Keep doing you brother I'm here for it

Appreciate the realism and honesty. Keep up the grind, I could never do what you're doing which is why I enjoy your channel and following along. We all have our trials and tribulations, but it's up to the individual that either pushes through, stops, or turns away. Keep it up!

I am making more money than I have before (nothing crazy substantial) but I am having to pinch pennies more than ever. I hope you find a way to stay afloat and keep living comfortably.

Nothing wrong with being vulnerable Silent Mike. Thanks for sharing. It's a breath of fresh air seeing someone on the internet, at the moment, being honest about life. Right now, across the US, with inflation kicking everyone's butts, the vast majority of people are in a tough spot; especially small business owners! You're doing all the right things. The famous saying goes "this too shall pass." Everything has a beginning and an end, and bad times are no exception. Hang in there. You've provided great content over the years. Cheers.

Some great perspective here Mike you’ve been a constant throughout my lifting “journey” the past 10+ years it’s sad to see you not doing as well as previous years. I think the fitness industry as it’s become more saturated is almost like dealing with the devil you have to sell your soul to stand out.

Before my greatest achievements or peak financial months, there was always a very real low that nearly took me out of the game. I’m currently experiencing one of those times too. But this time it’s my health. I’ve been so healthy the last three years and have been in the best shape of my life but 3 weeks ago, I got hit with something the docs haven’t figured out yet. It could be a bad abdominal tear or a hiatal hernia or maybe worse. I haven’t been able to hit the gym in 3 weeks. Haven’t missed the gym in 3 years. And I’ve lost 15 lbs. all my strength is gone. I can hardly move. And I got two kids. I just keep telling myself I’m gonna come back bigger and stronger because I’ve seen people come back from worse.

IDK, Maybe you continuing to talk about your mental health is like gasoline to a flame, meaning. You never get the chance to move on, because YOU are constantly reminding yourself, therefore the cycle continues. This is just IMO and my approach may not work for all again IMO.

honestly this is why more of us, trainers & coaches alike, need financial education to become financially literate. Honesty Mike if your plan over the next 5-10 years does not include bitcoin as a store of value, you're toast and not gonna make it.
@SilentMike
@SilentMike 4 ай бұрын
I don’t disagree that the more people understand finance the better off they are. Blanket statement of Bitcoin is where you lost me. Lots of stocks, real estate and options that are great places to hold money. Making money to begin with is a completely separate topic and a issue in our economy
