Lord Jesus Thank you that you love Mary. I ask in the name of Jesus that you would heal her of all her illnesses. Our hope for healing is in you. If there are doctors or treatments that you would want Mary to use, I pray that you would guide Peter and Mary. I ask for wisdom and discernment about which tests, procedures and treatments for them to pursue. God I thank you that Mary belongs to you and that you are in control of everything that happens from our first breath to our last. Amen. Peter I am old enough to be parents to you and Mary, live on the eastern shore of Virginia. I suffer from chronic illness am a disabled nurse. My husband is a paramedic and a ordained minister. I have been watching you both for a long time but feel today that theLord wants me to pray for you both. So I have and will continue to. God bless you both.

“We all have a tendency to make faith mechanical. We as Christians have a tendency to make faith about imaginary mechanics. “I do this and then I do that and then God will do this and then this will happen!” And when we don’t see the results in life we expected, we feel defeated and wonder if we just didn’t do enough of the right things! But the message in John 15 is that faith is not mechanical it’s organic, it’s alive it’s relational and I think sometimes in the imaginary mechanics of religion we have a tendency to over complicate the Christian life. In the message of John 15 it’s simple, it’s simply to stay connected to Jesus!” This is great!!

Amen... Our joy, peace, and true contentment is found in Jesus Christ alone! Thank you Pastor Peter for the encouragement, this reminder came at a perfect time. Abiding with Him in all things is so hard yet something that we are called to do as Christ followers.
