Happy Birthday! I purchased an OM-1 System II camera and a few lenses and other essentials,on my 76th birthday. I am in a wheel chair at present and with more PT I will walk again. My first day out in over one year, was to the Zoo with my new OM. In 1979 I purchased an OM 1n with many lenses and equipment took thousands of pictures with this all manual setup, and had a success rate of about 12% on nature, animals, cars and almost anything outside…it was inside that my success rate was less than 5%. With the new digital system, it is a challenge to not want to shoot outside with AF, but when I get more training with system, especially your and others’ on you tube. Have a great day.

I will say you have influenced some of my purchasing over the years... but I don't dislike what I picked up (packing my 3 Legged Things Ray once again tonight, and purchased right after your review). Regarding your English: Your pronunciation is quite good, very easy to understand for non-native listeners (like me)! There are lots of KZbinrs with English as their native language who are hard to understand. And you have acquired a kind of nice "British accent". Your vocabulary might be lacking (I couldn't tell 😂), but you're a pleasure to listen to! You've come a long way, and 70k subscribers isn't bad at all … 😉

Happy Birthday Jimmy. Always enjoyed your videos. The "slightly different" English accent pales into insignificance because it is the content that matters. Anyway you are more articulate than many folk who's first language is English. 50? You are a mere boy. I've turned 80 and still enjoy my photography despite some folk telling me that they can take photos, that are just as good, on their smart phones. Maybe they can but I enjot the whole process of using the camera, so may you continue to do so. All the best.

Happy birthday Jimmy. Started photography around the same age but 47 now . I went though a separation/divorce so i needed a hobby to take my mind off everything. Went to Target and got a Nikon D3200 and started pressing random buttons with 0 clue what i was doing. Then the em5-1 came along and i was hooked lol. Speaking of the em51. I wish they recreated that style and look. It didnt have some super grip or anything fancy. It was identical to my Pentax k1000. I wish OM would recreate that. Forget the grips and extra buttons, make it simple which in its own way is extremely pleasing
