Hua Chenyu is one of the most unique and versatile artist in the world. It's hard to predict what you'll get from him because each of his performances has a different style. He is an all-round artist. Rap, rock, classical music, pop music, ballad, opera, reggae etc, all he can do. He is a musical genius. Absolutely my favorite artist. More of him please.

Hua Chenyu is a music genius. This performance I am What I am is from one of his "Mars" concerts and his fans are called "Martians." You can tell that Hua was almost breaking down while singing, but held it together to finish the performance. The song Child from Singer 2018 is one of my favorites. More Hua Hua.

I really like that «I am what I am» is your first meeting with Hua Chenyu. It used to be his signature song which he only sang once a year at his concert. Originally sung by an artist called Lesley Cheung whom Hua admires a lot. He committed suicide in 2003. Sad. The lyrics by my fav lyricist Albert Leung. Leung has written the lyrics ti several of his songs. The beautiful Ashes from Fireworks among others

Hua Chenyu is a singer,rapper,composer, multi instrumentalist, philosopher but first and foremost performer. He has a great way of communicating with his fans, who he calls Martians..In his childhood he was often left on his own, his music teachers did not understand his art. Nowadays he fills mega stadiums days in a row.

He came second on the Singer in 2018, but participated again in 2020 and that time he won. He is so versatile and he isn't afraid to take artistic chances xo

I love Hua Chenyu..he just puts his everything in every performance..and he does almost every genre..rock, rap, slow stuff.. For something a little more fun you could check out "nunchucks" on the singer..or "fake monk" for something more avant-garde.. Or "I don't care" on the singer, for straight up rock..

A great first song to introduce you to Hua Chenyu. This is one song cover he does not rearrange in respect to his idol as mentioned in other comments. This mild compared to many of his other performances. You are guaranteed to be more impressed by his stage performances from his concerts, Singer 2018, Singer 2020, The next, and many other shows. Hope you will continue to discover more of him. Be sure to go to Hua Chenyu Eng Sub as the lyrics are just as profound as his performance and some you really need the lyrics to understand the way he interprets the songs.

Every performance of him is totally different, but he does just perfectly and awesome💕 the more you listen, the more you will love him. Unfortunately he is not international, but he should have been. Up to 40 mill fans in china alone. My fav artist no doubt. Hes a unique composer, arranger, artist, performer, singer. A rocker, but can do all genres. Listen to your patreon Joy. She knows what shes on about. You should listen to : Qi Tian, Nunchucks, I dont care from Singer 2018. 7 Personalities, Madhouse, Aliens, Ashes from Fireworks,..... I could go on and on. Congratulations you’ve find a gem! Hua Chenyu is my favorite artist! He is a singer with different kind of genres and also a song writer who composed lots of fantastic pieces of art. Hua Hua is truly an artist in every sense of the word. I am so grateful that I came across him. Listening to some of his interviews revealed a few things that I identify with and I have tremendous respect for him. He draws people in, you can't help but become a fan. No-one I have ever heard or learnt about in the music industry like him. This man is a legend💕

I've been up all night binging your reactions. Its rare for me to find people that feel music as spiritually as I do. Your reaction to NF's intro made me subscribe instantly. When HuaHua first debuted, he was called the Little Martian, so all of his concerts are called Mars Concerts, and his fans are called Martians or ET's. For years he ended his concerts with I am What I am, and he often makes himself cry with it. The audience too.
