the one thing i wasn’t too fond of about Ante Bellum was just how hard it makes you go in the HRE aggressively expanding… like the first mission for Styria, if i recall, you need to take like 12 highly developed provinces in the HRE before you do anything else what tha piss

I think it is better to get frankian vassals before becoming emperor, it's like half of France and minors like Breton and Normandy can very easily be consumed... but this more "central empire" path is not bad

Hi Chewy! Love the video, great content as always! Quick clarification question from an eager viewer that's unable to play it, just love seeing it played: why whitepeacing so many in the massive war, instead of seeing if they'll pay (as just one of them did)?
