We just returned from a March vacation in Barcelona, no crowds except the main attractions, Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell, for example. We stayed at Hotel Seventy and recommend that general area for it's convenient location. We want to return some day.

Great video of Q&A's. We are staying at the Lugaris Beach Apt and wondered about the area, number one. Number two, for getting your own food, if you are not eating out, what are the usual grocery type stores? Carrefour is one I have seen mentioned.

It’s a great option if you plan on using public transportation a lot. Barcelona is very walkable. You also get some museum entrances with it, which is great.
