Hi, do you want to know why the "Barcelona Bunkers" (they are actually called Búnkers de Carmel) were closed and you had to jump the fence? Cause they were so overrun by tourists, who were pissing everywhere, leaving their garbage and breaking stuff that the city council were forced to close them to protect the neighbors. So maybe take it easy on the insider tip talk and don't suggest to your viewers that they can just jump in anywhere they like, even if it's fenced off. Just an advice, cause that could cause trouble with the locals. You're right about the poor service thing though, it's exhausting.

Parc Guell is incredible and it was a highlight to our trip to Barcelona a couple years ago. But we were able to walk right in and get tickets! We were there in high season and had no idea how lucky we were.

6:45 I am from Barcelona, and let me tell you that if they attend in an unpleasant way it is because the hospitality industry is VERY underpaid. The amount of hours you work for a lousy salary is shameful. Barcelona may seem like a wonderful city, but that is only one of the many precarious situations that the natives have to endure due to the mass tourism. And when they tell you it’s full, it’s because it really is.

I know what you say it's totally true, wages in the service sector are precarious in Spain, but it's not customer's fault. They are actually paying overpriced food to be treated like 💩. I work in service with tourists and I always smile at them and try to make the best of their experience. They are on holidays, and us as employees are paid to serve them with respect (doesn't matter if it's over or under payed).

The waiters are just not asskissers because they don't need tips to get by, that's the difference. If you thought Barcelona had bad service wait for France, specially Paris... I very much prefer european style waiters than USA style where they are coming every 5 minutes to check on you. If I need something I will call the waiter, easy.

As a local, I can assure you it’s quite hard to find places that aren’t overcrowded… He showed the must visit places in the video but I can recommend going to El laberinto de Horta if you’re looking for a quieter place that is still romantic for a proposal and not as touristy!
