how many semesters? how many months each semester? 1yr study means -->8 mnths : 2 semesters?

mine was 2 yr program and got 1 yr pgwp!!1 so ya its luck!! and that sucks

You should appeal as legally you are entitled to PGWP corresponding to atleast the duration of the program.

Question: If I apply for my work permit in say, a month after my completion of degree. What if I apply for the work permit, but it takes like 3 months to process? Do I have to still leave after 90 days from completion of degree?

No, you can start working under implied status. You won't have to leave the country.

What was your thought behind taking the risk of having a work permit of 1 year only, rather than doing another course of 1 year which can assure you a 3 year work permit.

I knew that if I get a job before my work permit gets approves, then I would be fine. So, I just focused on getting a job ASAP.

You can never extend your PGWP. That's where the pain is.
