Great video Alex. I personally love the black background. I think it makes the fish pop, and keeps your focus on the landscape. That egg crate is a great idea. Watching you put that grass in, was like watching an artist paint. It really is a form of art to create such a beautiful landscape. Great job, it's beautiful! 👍 😍

I too, use black background for most of my tanks too as it definitely makes the green plants stand out as it definitely is with yours and most fish will show up better too!
