Honestly in my opinion (even though I've only seen 12 of these anime/manga shown on the tierlist) Guts, Jotaro, Mob, Edward, Thorfin, and Spike are S Conan, Lelouch, Okabe, Luffy, Gon, and Saitama are A Eren, Yuji, Yusuke, Senku, Yugi, and Ash are B and the rest can go wherever. 9 of the anime/manga characters I've watched are S-B, three are below B, can anyone guess all 12? The amount of love and hate for Goku is Crazy. They hate him or love him because he is the biggest inspiration, most iconic and legendary character, a character with alot of devolpment but they still call him mid. He was ahead of time and still in devolpment. They hate him Because he is the most popular anime character of all time and. They love him because he is just him.

Doesent stay the same, does age and always change and was a little kid from start and now just a goat hero who protected everyone, the world, who has goals and who trains all the time. Luffy is a trash character but goku is like the much much much better version of luffy.luffy stays forever the samt just to sell toys. But there are alot of gokus and you can sell alot of versions of him. Toei didnt wanted to age goku but akira did it becasue he is a goat to. I think you just watched some episodes of super who wasnt even made by akira toriyama. The real goku is end of Z Dbz. He had alot of Senseis, alot of devolpment, does age all the time, gets stronger, has always new techniques, hax, and transformations, he didnt know nothing and now has a family. He didnt know nothing and now everyone knows and loves him. He makes funny jokes about others, back then he just laughed at others, this dude just changed so much but in a natural way like i said. The devolpment feels so perfect and alot sou people cant or just dont understand it. He will always stay similar because he always was pure soul and hearth and still is and this doesent make him to a bad character.

@@DragonBallGOAT his hax and transformations doesnt have anything 2 do with development, at the end of dbz he has ok development but he is nowhere near as good as some characters, like from dbz to now he is just trash. He is like (to this guy is strong i want to fight him, and i want to mention that one time when he didnt know how kids are made, so he is abnormaly stupid after dbz and he lost all character development). when you look into character you need to count his entire being in show not just one (anime). And his (natural) development like you said is just fine its nothing special like Thorfins or some other character like guts, its just 2 simple of development to be high tier on the list. Dbz is only good cuz it was in front of that time, like if it was new anime no one would give a fuck, dbz super is trash with just good fights, no story, no char development. He doesnt have any pshychological advancements, his only trai was maturing into a father and after he beat frieza he went (numb) as character.

Everyone wanted to be like dragon ball and copied dragon ball characters, ideas, techniques, transformations and much much more. Dragon ball is the GOAT. You can create a good fiction and a good Story. But you cant Change the World. Like Dragon Ball. You cant be ahead of Time and inspire thr whole World. Dragon Ball has haters because its GOATED, they jealous on Dragon ball because of the impact, influence, inspiration. They hate Dragon Ball because of how iconic and legendary it is. Nah, its just a rip off Goku with the worst aspect (acts stupid and loves to eat a lot of food), no hell should a character like that be in S tier. Luffy is a very plane character with little to no development, you could argue he has gotten less interesting in post-timeskip (atleast in the past Oda played more on the comedy strength of Luffy).

You should let people move two so they could move someone from S to A, rather than having to put all the way down to C. It would make for better content so people could move along A vs A characters or B vs B characters after selecting their S switch. It would make it more dynamic and enjoyable to watch.

Well that’s why I allowed them to switch. I think giving them more than 1 move each would be far too chaotic, the entire board dynamic would change every 10mins without any steady direction. The 1 move was used to frustrate the crowd and made them think it through before making their choice. I get what you’re saying though, I definitely considered offering more freedom
