I'm not a twitter person by my 9 would be: 1. Golden Kamuy 2. Dorohedoro 3. Mob Psycho 100 4. Odd Taxi 5. Vinland Saga 6. Ranking of Kings 7. Chiansaw Man 8. Kill la Kill 9. Beastars the first three are peak for my sensibilities. my criteria for that is, if I have 3 friends who all have different schedules, and all 3 of them want to watch this show with me, but each friend is at a different point in the show... can I watch it with all 3 of them, no matter what point they're at, and get them all to finish it? if the answer is yes, it's peak to me. and I've literally done that with all 3 of these, successfully. Golden Kamuy is at the top because I did that with it 5 times and would literally still watch the show again. also, some titles _would_ be on here if I didn't prefer the manga... Monster, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, D. Gray Man, etc. the anime are good, but for each of these, I would prefer to read it. and yes, Chainsaw Man is recent, but that doesn't mean I can't recognize what I like... I hate the term "recency bias" because legitimately, I have trouble getting into shows I don't click with. I'm actually picky, not even willingly, but because I have ADD and bounce off of things for terrible brain reasons that are 100% a me problem. I know what I like because they're the shows that I'm actually capable of consuming comfortably. these 9 anime are all shows that I was excited to watch more of the whole time. plus a good amount of them are really fun to discuss in terms of themes and character analysis... I don't do that with shows I don't like that much.
