Malaysian non Malays especially Malaysian Chinese always thinks high about Singapore and Main land China but have negative minds about Malaysia . American people is one of the most highly respected people around the world because they bring down the evil regime nazi and Japan. Those people that have negative views on America is either related to mainland China supporters or anti America because of some majority racist religion believer. I am Malaysian Chinese , although west did many bad things in the past we as human being shouldn't have bad or negative thinking based on their race or nationality. Of course America have more freedom than Malaysia but everything have pro and cons. No country is perfect and we should respect regardless of race religion and nationality.

Good to see your post and know you're still having fun. I'm surprised that more Malaysians didn't have a negative opinion of America. Not one of those people said anything bad about America and I would not have expected that. It made me feel good. Being that I live in America, my answers are biased, but the first thing I think of is BIG. It's a big country--takes 3 or 4 days to drive from one side to another. It has multiple time zones; the weather is totally different in different states; the landscape is totally different in different states such as Florida compared to Utah. Cities are big; houses are big; cars are big; food portions are big.
