I really enjoy how your body language is calm, and how invested your energy becomes - no matter salary or job titles. It makes everyone feel listened and open to being honest. I’ve watched a handful of these videos from other KZbinrs, and when they stumble across certain folks their body language and tone becomes more stern (arms crossed, deeper voice), but not you, you treat everyone with the same genuine interest. Mad respect and great humility ❤.

The guy who is the surgeon trainee is part of what is wrong with our medical profession. Working 28 hours straight (or anything close to that) is not a good way to be the best surgeon at the hospital. I don't want anyone, much less a surgeon, touching me with a potential life threatening surgery. Doctors are not super human. They are just like everyone. They need 7-8 hours of sleep per night.
@leftwingersareweak2 жыл бұрын
@Mason Young It's not the same as sleeping in your own bed. Also, I've heard many stories of working long consecutive hours. It's ridiculous. Doctors have always thought they were superhuman. They aren't. They are just like everyone else. Also, many die each year from medical errors. Thousands of people.
@هذاأنا-ذ3ث Жыл бұрын
By design, doctors want it to be exclusive so they can make more money. We can double the number of medical schools in a decade, but they won't do that. Much of the talk about wanting to help others is fake, it is all about the money.

I completely agree That’s ridiculous They need sleep so they can focus And he said back at it again tomorrow
@stevekru6518 Жыл бұрын
Sleep is essential for top performance but the countervailing factor is continuity of care. Another surgeon will not know the patient’s status as well as the one who operated and the patient is most vulnerable during the 24 hours post op.

"You need to do today what your opponent won't do so tomorrow you can do what they can't." - Alec This was an awesome quote that I hadn't heard before. It's super applicable to where I'm at in my life as well as I try to build my own online business with my KZbin channel. Sometimes when I get back from a long day at work (today for example), I tend to want to lay down and do absolutely nothing. But with this quote at the top of my mind, that could really change my outlook on my time once I get home from work. These videos are always so inspirational Charlie. Keep it up!

One would think that the older folks have the wiser advice but I actually think the younger people are just as influential. I mean , they both are but it's fascinating to me to see and hear the younger people. It's very interesting to get an array of age and skill sets. I am addicted to these videos, they are just so wholesome and I think can help anyone with any type of goal they might have.

What’s the craziest thing I almost did for money? When I was in my 20s and working out at the gym a lot I was in really good shape one of the personal trainers came up and asked me if I wanted to do naked bartending for older women in their 60s and 70s the personal trainer told me that I could make $500-$1000 a day just walking around in just an apron and flirting in pouring drinks for older women, I never did it but it always stuck with me that it was an opportunity if I wanted it

Tracy said she made 400k last year in real estate but real estate was booming the last two years. Doubt she will make anything near that the next few years when real estate takes a dump. Also I googled what the average person makes in the job and it says 80-200k a year. So 400k?…. I’m guessing that’s why she said “we made” and not “I made?”

Hmm... Can we have a "this is one of the least affluent areas in the state, let's see what these people do for a living and why they haven't raised themselves out of poverty." Honestly, this is the biggest issue for me is a lack of capital and a bankruptcy in my past. No one will lend me money to get a business started, yet I have amazing ideas and everyone says I should start one. You need money to make money buddy. And at 35 its not getting easier.
@swicheroo12 жыл бұрын
You can take measures to develop your credit. I suggest getting a secured credit card and making timely payments. Your bankruptcy stays on your record for 7-10 years, which feels like a long time, but goes by quite quickly.
