Some better options: 1. Joey special - two pizzas 2. Eat as much of an entire turkey as you can after the ‘stomach liner’ 3. The legendary meatball sub that Joey saves during the car backfire 4. Eating everything from the fridge because it broke. Now that’s iconic Joey food.

Little disappointed you didn’t do the meatballs, melted cheese, marinara sauce sandwich from that episode when they go on a police patrol. And by that I mean I’m disappointed for you cause that dry meat stack sandwich you had seemed pretty mediocre and I want the best for you
@melankak77635 жыл бұрын
Exactly my thoughts after watching. And I'm guessing the description in the episode looked like this just because he was really craving meat, and not really eating it so dry on regular basis ;)
@LauraAbbd5 жыл бұрын
Melanka K if I remember correctly Joey makes a similar sandwich with several meats but we don’t see the whole process. Then later Phoebe makes one with pastrami corned beef turkey and mustard, I think?
@melankak77635 жыл бұрын
@@LauraAbbd Yeah, but like if you remember the sailing classes with Rachel, how Joey in the end of the episode pulls out sandwiches and beer, you can clearly see there is some sauce (mayo? ranch??) and decent amount of veggies as well, not only loads of meat, as it was prepared by Grackle here, it think it would make a world of a difference ;)
@LauraAbbd5 жыл бұрын
Melanka K yeah I think his sandwiches are more chuck-full of sauce with something crunchy to give it texture and all that (especially when it’s a meal and not just a quick snack) He is the king of sandwiches after all
@leea87065 жыл бұрын
To be fair I doubt the sandwich was dry, the supermarkets inject so much water into meat to increase the weight of it it was probably pretty moist. Although I would have gone with American mustard over whole grain. I also might be biased, I absolutely hate butter and margarine or anything similar so I have eaten ‘dry’ sandwiches my entire life, and I kind of like them that way. I’m really not someone who needs my food swimming in some kind of sauce to eat it, but my other half does.

"It really looks like poo...I'm very very in the mood for this" well, that was an interesting verbal juxtaposition Corned beef cut from a 'loaf' is minging. Even worse is the canned variety. If you can't tell it was sliced off a hunk of dead cow (ie you can see the muscle grain), don't bother
@angelika_munkastrap46345 жыл бұрын
Don't know if you guys have the Subway sandwich chain of restaurants over there, they're pretty big here in Australia, bit if anyone wants to try the Munkastrap Special lol I always get the Chicken Schnitzel on toasted flatbread (white roll if there's no flatbread in that particular store) with two kinds of doubled up cheese, (yes you have to ask for double the cheese, they're stingy), I get usually the cheddar and the Swiss., then I add baby spinach and a heaping helping of the purple onions. Salt, pepper, then the honey mustard dressing (sweet onion dressing if you can't eat mustard). And yummmooooo. Can't beat it

I am from America and I have a couple points of interest. Thin crust isn’t like the one Joey had in your clip the crust is more dough. Honey mustard is like 3-4 on the list. Ranch, bbq sauce or mayo mixed with ketchup is more popular in phx, Az. That sandwich looked real dry. Like it needed tomatoes or a nice layer of mayo on the bread plus where is the cheese?

Honey mustard is very “American”. We use it on salads and all sorts of stuff. Lots of people use it to dip chicken or salad with chicken on it. I say “we” but I don’t actually eat it often. I feel like ranch dressing is what most Americans put on everything. It’s a dip for everything from veggies to pizza.
