HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES (POKEMON HARD MODE)
-----------------------------------------------------
1. Only Pokemon with a Water-typing can be used in battle.
2. I can only try to catch the first Water-type that I encounter in each area.
3. If a Pokemon faints it cannot be used for the remainder of the run.
4. If my whole team faints then the attempt is over.
5. No items in battle (held items are okay).
6. Set mode enabled.
7. I cannot over-level beyond the highest level of the next gym. The level cap is shown in the overlay.
8. No duplicate species can be caught. Encounters for species that I have caught previously are re-rolled.
9. Any shiny Water-type can be caught regardless of whether it is the first encounter of an area.
10. WILD AREA: Limit of one initial encounter on my first visit and one additional encounter for each gym badge. Isle of Armor encounters are included in this limit.
11. No Dynamax.

I just spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why Toxic hit you. I forgot that in gen 6 they made poison type Pokemon able to always hit toxic (I think it bypasses the accuracy check), I didn't know that included during semi-invulnerable attacks like with dig but I guess it does! Neat!

Fishious rend, in the rain, with a choice band, in addition to strong jaw and stab, is ~861 Base Power. Dracovish is an abomination of the gods and arceus in more ways than one

6:40 crazy about the weathers in Gen 9. If you enter an area with a certain weather condition going on, you can't swap it off with pokemon abilities or moves. Case in point, when I did the rematch fight with Geeta it was raining naturallly, I sent in Joe the Hippowdon and it had Sand Stream ability which open entry, induces a five turn Sandstorm weather effect. But it said "But it failed!" and the rain persisted. And then when I was in one of the deserts for leveling, I tried to do Rain Dance only for the same message to come up. I wonder if any of the Psyduck line have Cloud Nine would it cancel out the natural weather or will it fail too

Man, my favourite type run at last, and I'm at work so I miss the upload. Water is such a flexible and varied type, and have some of the best Pokemon around. I'm calling it now. Gyarados will dominate. It always has. Post video edit: "Amazing. Everything you just said was wrong."

It's one of my favourite types to play too! You get bulky pokemon, weather strats, swift swim sweepers and just a diverse range of cool Pokemon to choose from!

Personally I'm more a fan of Seismitoad's poison touch ability. Decent chance to poison combined with a good poison move can do wonders. Great physical or special attacker, which is awesome 👍👍😎!

If you play without dynamax, the gym fights are very difficult if you not have the right pokemon or stratagie for winning them. But in sword and shield, you get a lot of great and op pokemon of every typ. I dont know, but if this harder gym fight makes your challange more fun, thats good, but for me dynamax is a okay move to ansure the fun off a challange like a mono typ one

I don't mind using Dynamax but I think it makes the run more dangerous and exciting to not use it! Water has so many available Pokemon so I don't mind taking some extra risk by not dynamaxing :)
