I Attempted The Hardest Pokemon Gen 2 Nuzlocke

Crystal Kaizo+ is the new difficult Gen 2 Pokémon rom hack from the creator of Emerald Kaizo and a balance team of top nuzlockers. This is my first attempt to hardcore nuzlocke this game.

4. No items in battle (held items ok)

I'm playing a non-nuzlocke of this game and I just beat the elite four. I am very interested in watching this video after I complete the game so I don't spoil anything for myself but holy cow I can't believe anyone could do this game as a nuzlocke. This game is super fun and I would recommend any Pokemon Crystal fan should play it!

Shout out to Crash, probably not purposeful but that’s the name of the Croconaw of a main character from Boarding Party’s Pokémon D&D. Highly recommend it to fans of both properties- it takes a while for them to find their footing in the early episodes but I promise it LITERALLY gets better by the episode- even years later

In normal crystal kaizo razor wind is a single turn move. Did you use candies or do you farm exp? I find leveling in this game very tedious.

What do you mean about the radio tower being an egg hatch?

Radio Tower is flagged as it's own encounter location, so you ideally hatch an egg there with the options being the togepi egg or the odd egg. Otherwise you're using up an encounter to hatch an egg elsewhere

You didn't show the first battle against your rival. They have a super effective move against yours and always kill you.

To be honest it feels pretty impossible to lose that fight since the level cap allows you to be so much higher 😅

@@Moxi Makes sense. One way I make the games harder is never use items. Also never use more Pokemon than the opponent has. Why should I get to use 6 against the opponents 1?
