Great Video thanks you. But I actually have one question, whenever I speed up the emulator a little bit of text pops up and shows the fps, is there any way to turn of these messages, so it just speeds up or slowes down without any text on screen

what’s the point of doing the challenge if you’re just going to save state to get the mon you want? might as well not even do it at all. “won’t waste time on pointless run with weak mons” okay don’t do it at all if you’re not gonna follow the rules 🤷🏽

You may have misinterpreted! There’s no save stating encounters involved. I get my starting pack and if it doesn’t seem runnable I consider that run a loss, add 1 to the attempt counter, start a new fresh run getting each random encounter once again. This is to save time rather than play out likely doomed runs.

There’s extensive documentation on this game so I just have that pulled up when I play. As for emerald crest, I’m not too familiar and don’t really know if there’s docs for that game or not

What exactly is happening at 3:08? Because it looks like rerolling encounters on a single run to me. I get not running everything but shouldn´t you start a run over with picking a starter, especially if you already caught two other mons?
