Skill over the last few months I have been testing out the 15-5 theory, the idea is that in what seems like most battles one team will win by 15 to 5 or less. As you and I know full well after many years of playing World Of Tanks the average battle with balanced teams is actually about 15-10. So I went about testing the things and I can include replays for you, as soon as I realized a game was going heavily in favour of one side I changed the way I played significantly, for example In T34-3 in a battle I saw my team was winning 4-0 and it looked like another 3 minute battle so I decided to not aim, to go full yolo.. every single shot went directly into the middle of the aiming circle I hit 8/8 and by the end of the battle I was laughing. In a loss with a reliable tank destroyer the Tortoise I was bouncing shots that should never bounce left right and center some of which could only be explained by extreme rng in bad luck , its like shooting a tank with a lower plate of 200 7 times and bouncing 7 times but technically the pen can roll just under 200 so there is possibility of a bounce but it should be 2% but in this kind of loss it is 90% So next game I play with WZ tier 8 tank destroyer, it has pretty bad armour but occassionally it can bounce a poorly aimed shot, I got to my bush but then saw the team was winning and then I decided to give up the sniper position and go full yolo into 3-4 enemy who were waiting behind cover, I imagined my bad rng in my Tortoise game and expected the enemy to also share this bad rng because my team was going to win 15-5... lo and behold when I turned the corner the 3 enemy waiting there all shot at me and I should be already dead it was a stupid play but they all bounced, I shot while still on the move and I pen my shot, I sat there while enemy tracked me and missed some really easy pens, the tier 10 enemy did pen me but I think the shot was a guaranteed one and outside of rng range, I told team in chat to just yolo dont aim and they will bounce and even though I did eventually die getting out dpm by the tier 10 I did kill the other 2 and then I watched as our team went round the corner and the enemy shots all doing no damage it was way beyond coincidence. I am now convinced that it is fact that you either get a losing team, a winning team or rarely a normal game. I think the amount of new players in matchmaking or bad players is actually misdirection its a by product of the matchmaker trying to deal with the hidden rng . Basically a winning team will get 90% improved "luck" on rng on dispersion and shell pen values, a losing team will get 90% less luck. It forces much much faster games and I think this is what wargaming wants the game to turn into with their eastern strategy and monetizations. It is shameful and corrupt that they hide this from people, the amount of stress from expecting normal play to happen and you get dreadful rng and you play like a donkey even though you are actually playing very well. The victories where all your shots go in the middle and you win are often forgotten by players but to me it is the same red flags, I remember the easiest wins to be the same as the ridiculous losses. In the 15-5 games you see in the chat people losing their minds, its not their fault they just expect the games to be normal and they are not. Solution: Expect the 15-5 simulator, if you see your team winning play very aggressive. If you see team losing play very safe and load full gold your rng will be dreadful and you need the guaranteed pens to get any use aim all your shots fully. One thing that dominates all in World Of Tanks is never underestimate stupidity, rigged rng only goes so far it does not guarantee win or loss. In fact the rigged rng and how to play around it to get maximum use invites stupidity, it encourages it. It is very important to keep your mental health, you could easily mark this tank before the 15-5 games started to happen, you played incredibly well during the streams, its important to realize what the game is now compared to what it was, and it can still be enjoyed. In a few months dont play it and you will get the 3rd mark from the work you put in recently and it isnt actually cheating the system by doing that, think how many players marked the t95fv in the last 2 weeks its probably none. I will always tune in to watch you skill :-)

I'm not seeing his streams that often anymore but he has proven many times that he can do what he puts his mind to and that he can stand behind his words. I wish him good luck!

And it's not just entertainment, he's an example of someone who believes in fair play and treating people decently (unless he's trying to mark the chieftain 😁). Remember to not lose hope! A polish streamer KamilEater was marking carro 45t for 6 months and for 2.8k battles a lot of people made fun of him not being able to get it but in the end he was the one victorious

For anyone wondering why this tank is so hard to 3 mark, its rigging. This has nothing to do with Skills abilities, I know people from Fame who cant 3 mark it. Rigging is way bigger than yall think.

It's really a struggle to perform consistently on a very high level in current games. Either the enemy team by large just su*cides down a flank, and you are out of luck if you happen to be on the other side, or the only thing the enemy does is play hide, giving up map control, potentially any chance to win just to try not to get spotted ever.

It’s about MM and maps IMO, timing has to be perfect. I don’t try to 3 mark tanks for me it’s not fun and after 2 marks I’m good, then it’s just about win ratio and having fun.

True. I am nowhere close to a good player. I have no problem to 1st mark a tank. But I can already feel that 2nd mark is absolutely my limit... The essence of marking a tank is a bit “antisocial” I would say. I may feel delightful in a loss game because i can farm a lot of damages, but i will rage when I win 15-5 because the score was too average... that's just.... contradictory. Why I have to feel bad after a win?😅

@@chuihoi1423 Agree with you, I am casual aslo with a roughly 8300wn8 and 55% WR so I am at the same stage, 1 mark - easy, 2nd mark is my limit most of the time. 3rd mark - I cannot even imagine ;)) So if I try to mark any tank - I don't play at weekends, as my WR drops extremely fast, I play a few games this weekend and guess what 49% WR LOL

I have 19k battles and only in the last 2k have I tried to play seriously instead of just messing around. My goal was to 2 mark my favorite tanks. When I started I had a lot more fun than usual because I wasn't going for win rate or kills just marks so the games where we lost miserably didn’t matter to me anymore as long as I got consistent damage. When I got my 1st marks on all the tanks it was fun then it just became frustrating chasing that percentage as I got closer to the 2nd mark. I can't even imagine how frustrating it must be to try to 3 mark these crazy difficult tanks. It is good to know that skeeel is a human being after all and not a tank god.

I can pretty much understand you frustrations. I play on several levels lower and have this often when trying to get some missions done or just the 1st mark. Sometimes I hate missions/bonuses as they take my focus from the game itself and ruin my joyfull playing (which should be mainly for fun).

I'm glad you decided to stop. Your streams were very interesting to watch, the quality of gameplay was awesome. I've seen you do roughly 10k combined in 4 minutes of absolute chaos, seen you do 4k combined in a single minute and yolo into such strong positions that completely destroyed the meta of a map. But good gameplay alone gets boring quick, games fade into each other. You make the stream, you make it fun, you make me stay and watch, not the grumpy looking guy we saw staring at a screen for many hour a day.

I totally understand you! Especially lately it's very difficult to enjoy the game. Although I do great, personally, even with 7 kills, our team still loses within 4-5 minutes. Rarely I get a game that lasts longer than 5 minutes and with close battles. It's quite frustrating. 5-15, 15-5 mostly, fast minutes. Can't reload fast enough to get the 3 mark :D

The 3rd game is the craziest game I've ever seen. A true zombie apocalypse =)))) Chieftain getting nerfed or not doesn't change much. The most broken thing in the game right now is the fcking Matchmaking system. Last week, I was marking the T57 HT, and there was one battle that I was the only tier 10 HT in my team. Guess what? I got matched up against 2 tier 10 HTs, an Obj 260 and an S.Conq. I thought I was absolutely fcked, but somehow my team managed to win the battle. There are so many battles with that kind of broken line-ups, and WG is taking half a year to make some small stats changes to a few tanks. They milked tons of money from us every few months, but sadly, only a small fraction of all that go into actual game development.

The main issue of this game is that in random battles the rating of the players is COMPLETELY ignored and you end up with a team having average rating of 7k+ and the other having average rating of 4k. Of course the games end in 3 minutes

I saw Daki struggling in the NA server with this vehicle (which is soooo much esier than EU). You can 3mark it. But nowadays 15-1 simulator makes the time require to mark a vehicle very long. Edit: Daki couldn't do it also.

Skiiiil! Don't give up! You can still theoretically 3rd mark Chieftain in one battle! You should just wait when a XP level for third mark will drop and then play one really well game. This way you will have an average XP higher than others who play the nerfed Chieftain. This is how I got 2nd mark on my M53/M55 with a 200 dmg loss game. So just wait and you might get 3rd mark without any pressure

Personally I think that the marks of excellence system needs a slight rework. Either make a set score that needs to be met for each mark, or say like, scrap the top 5% of games at all times and the bottom 5% of games, that way most of the ridiculous rigging games and just straight lucky games are taken out. It's supposed to be based on skill (and largely is) but even bad players have good games every now and again, and why should riggers rigging 15k damage games affect the marks?

I think that so many people play Chieftain that they are unicums, and they play it every single day for months there is no way to compete with that. The tank is obviously broken, so you get people who play it exclusively and they screw up the stats because they get epic matchmaking you just can't duplicate.

Dude, don't forget that the Chieftain is confined to a population of on average highly skilled players, and they have played it a LOT, versus other generally highly skilled players. So outperforming 90% of them on your first go at it is nothing to to sneeze at.

I remember marty_vole marking T95E6. I don't know how good or bad chief is. Sometimes they are basically immortal and annoying as hell playing aggressive and not being punished. But I've seen minotauro with 9k combined and 5k blocked overpeaking middle of prochorovka. I don't even have opinion on Concept 1B which I have. Tank is mobile, but it has no armor, only angles. Sometimes it blocks 5k like a boss, next game on ruinberg balcony it gets penetrated 4/5 times to a tiny cupula having perfect position, just pointing gun a bit off-angle. Accuracy is meh. It's super easy to die in it, cause tank is full of weakspots. It does not work against 300 pen heats. Maybe it's worse than Conqueror at holding position and maybe it has worse gun. But conqueror is slow and can't side scrape that well. Centurion7 is worse at everything, but accuracy. M103 and Phase may have better guns, I don't have Phase and I don't remember M103 as a great tank. Basically I cannot find tank that good and fun to play. But is it OP? I'm not sure, it has too many weaknesses that are hard or impossible to negate and if I make mistake, it's fatal.

Imo playing against the chieftain is a pain. I feel like it shear bouncing capacity on its hull during a hull down postion is hard to combat... it defs needs a nerf

We love whatcha do man! If you're getting stuck then it's likely because clans are being sneaky lads and helping arrange some farming. Doing 10k, 10 games is a bit of a statistical improbability, even with a broken tank. Possible? I'm not sure.

Eyy, skilll Im currently playin obj 430 and i think they changed that tank coz its incredibly good. Maybe some gameplay coz u played on that tank 3 years ago? Love your videos
