During my early teen years(I'm 30), an uncle of mine married a Japanese lady. Compared to any Christmas we've ever had prior, meeting my Japanese aunt's older son is my favorite. He could barely speak English, though understood it. I was a HUGE manga/anime nerd at 14. (Him being the age 18/19???) Had the patience to let me bombard him with questions on Japanese Culter/writing/style. If I ever regret anything, it's that I did not keep the writing in Japanese he taught me on that Christmas day. EDIT: Sorry. This is ranting after seeing OTV videos in Japan. >.
