Hi Chloé! I can knit (40+ years of experience) and crochet too. Knitting can be definitely easier than crocheting as a beginner. And moher yarn is beautiful, but forget it! :) Practice with 100% cotton yarn and when it's going well, you can start to do it with the blue mohair again. Just do it right! A very meditative activity. When I was a teenager, I used to knit sweaters while watching giant ski jumping competitions :))))

Re: the mohair you’re crocheting with, can confirm it is 100% easier to knit with than the crochet. The stitches are separated out much more clearly. I would recommend wooden needles vs metal though, so they are less slippery!
