Rob's approach to the game is incrediby funny. It's like he is forced to play the game for his viewers so now he must complete it somehow as fast as possible, but in the process he has made the most bone-headed high damage 0 everything else build and has 0 interest in trying to understand the story.

I don't think he paid attention to really anything besides trying to stay alive lol. But I get it it's hard to learn the story and all of the lore even when you're not streaming to a 1000 people. Hopefully in the ng+ he learns more about the lore because it really does make the game a whole lot better.

@@nateskate6881 I hope he actually tries to complete some of the npc questlines as well. I know he'll need to complete Logan and Laurentius' questlines for the sorceries and pyromancies, but I really hope he completes Siegmeyer and Solaire's as well.

There’s far cheesier ways to beat the game than using Havel’s armor. Doing a sorcery class and casting spells from a distance is easy mode

​@@dylanyewest534 you are so right, with multiple stacks of homing soulmass and firing an arrow at the same time, there isn't anything you can't stagger or kill as long as you continue to level int. My sorcerer build turned into a perpetual glass cannon with sanctus cause I never leveled vitality lol

One of your biggest problems against Manus was standing right in front of the boss healing and just getting locked into a heal-smash, heal-smash cycle. Need to get some distance for a heal so you can actually complete the heal, otherwise you're just standing there keeping yourself alive while not actually doing anything that moves you towards victory.

it is certainly not double the fun. double the frustration maybe. it’s the worst game in the series. i would skip ds2, and go go ds3. then elden ring. then blood borne, then sekiro, then ds2.

Honestly this was really good for a first playthrough. Manus is a great fight but I get why he went the Havel route. I honestly think Manus is one of the 10 hardest bosses in the series. I’ve beaten Consort Radahn and Sister Friede level 1 but I haven’t been able to beat Manus yet. Manus against a DS1 character is nuts, but he’s still in my top 10 bosses. I’d be lying though if I said I didn’t get angry my first time facing him.

Id say you are allowed to do the easy soul duplication glitch to buy the upgrade materials you will need. Purely because yes you can do it legit. But to farm enough souls to buy all of the materials needed is actually insanely lengthy.

I know you don’t have time to completely enjoy a game, but i will recommend you to watch some vaati vidya lore videos on games like dark souls or Elden Ring. It just skyrockets the enjoyment of games like these. It will take time, which you could rarely have, but it’s the definitive way to play imo.

To max out the flasks' efficiency (+7) need to use the firekeeper soul consumable items at any of the firekeepers (Anastacia below firelink, Darkmoon knightess at the Anor Londo bonfire, or Quelagg's sister).
