The bad thing about Demons Souls is that you can only be a noob at it, once. I remember from going from "This game is impossible. Why do I keep playing? 2 hours and I haven't left the opening area." Later on "All this armor just slows me down" or "I can probably beat this game in less than 1 hour". finally to "How can I handicap myself to make the game a challenge". It's quite a journey I don't get from most games.

I think even since all of the souls games Demon's Souls just hit me as a very fun adventure that is satisfying to win and understandable when I die. It may be easy for me now but it doesn't detract from the fun I still have. But thank you hawkbirdtree3660 for your comment.

Literally me playing Elden Ring as my first Souls game... Git stuck 4 hours straight on Margitt and I though I wasted 80$ on an unbeatable game... Did some more exploitation, can back with a new weapon and kicked his A$$ in less than 5 minutes! I then rolled on the whole game couples of time, did rando run and got 300+ hours on it! I also beat DS3 then DS1 ans I'm actually on Bloodborne right now and will prolly switch to some Demon's Souls right after that 😎 love these games!

I remember I got this game during the summer of 2019, first time playing a souls game had me raging against the blue eyed knight, the hot weather only made it worst. When I first started I was playing as if it was a hack n slash lol.

I really like the feel of demon souls and dark souls 1's combat. It had a certain fleshy impact that was never replicated. Also, this is insanely impressive, I could never even get close to this.

It runs better on RPCS3 than it does on original hardware as long as you have a reasonably modern computer, and you can even get the network features working with enhancements that make it far easier to connect to friends and control world tendency using the community server. Definitely worth it. I did my 3rd platinum of it on the emulator last year and had a solid time.

damn fair play, I found the jump from NG - NG+ to be the hardest in demons souls out of all the souls games. Fools idol 1 taps and other bosses like that were crazy.

Demon's Soul's is still my favorite in the Soulsborne series. It was the kind of game where you discover you can decide whether it stays or stops being being difficult at your whim. If I hadn't broken mine with all the glitches, I'd still be playing now. I've still yet to play the Remake since I don't have a PS5. Still, a very fun game and memorable experience.

@@Jasler7 I only thought of it cause a buddy of mine recently played the game as his first soulsborne, and I noticed that when using clever rat ring, the damage boost is apparently double the normal amount, as it counts the bow and the arrow as two seperate weapons(from what I remember). Also I still can't believe you beat flamelurker through to ng+5, 6 times in a row.

The Vinland boss fight makes those that know that Vinland can parry sweat a bit when they watch these 5 runs. 5 Vinland fights and he never parried the few times you hit his shield.

Yeah, I was worried about that, that's why Warding is extremely helpful for boss fights. In the late ng+ cycles he can one shot you with a parry without Warding active.

Really nice seeing a video on the original demon souls. On my 2nd playthru now and also picked the temple knight. Loving this game the more and more I play it.

The olde demons souls. Where everything started about souls for a lot of people...including me. I reached NG+ 6 in the olde demons souls and the game really started to become very hard. Good memories and a lot of despair 😂 Great video

I have default resolution 1280x720 (recommended) and im using resolution scale 150% (1920x1080) and resolution scale threshold at 16x16 (default)
