@@grandrtiv26 I checked and found out it uses a new crystal tear for the Woundrous Physick elixir, the Deflecting Hardtear. Second video with this buff that I've found that makes no mention of this (though this one shows it briefly at the end). Instead of thinking about if it counts as no damage, I'm having a harder time figuring out if this belongs in the game. This tear imports the Sekiro deflect into Elden Ring for 5 whole minutes (no damage on block, significantly reduced stamina cost). This fundamentally alters the game, and would explain why the bosses behave like Sekiro bosses (Sekiro would have no trouble beating these people). Plus, it makes weapons cross the line into greatshield territory. I'm not sure what to make of this because Sekiro's deflection is a very enjoyable game mechanic, but is looking like enabling a NG+ cheat code in a game like Elden Ring.

​@@karnell5761hope you put it in your physics flask first and drink it before the fight 😅 It's a perfect block deflect. Means you have to press the block button at the moment the enemy lands their attack. When it happens you have a deflect which has no block stun (or at least minimal stun), less stamina consumption and zero damage received regardless of damage absorption of your blocking stats if done correctly. But it requires precise timing. Not super hard to master, but still sort of skill ceiling.

It's a physick buff you get from the first furnace enemy in the dlc Time your block correctly and you take no damage and very little stamina damage, in addition to that, you get much much higher poise damage for your guard counters Also, name checks out

Damn, first thing I see is my exact build. You did what I could not. The moment I realized it would be a duelist fight I ditched the medium shield + greatsword and switched to milady with quickstep to duel her. Just because it felt right. I even put on the sekiro tear and tried this same thing. Though when I tried this, she kept breaking through the sekiro deflect with the moves that are two quick hits rather than one. Eventually I swapped to a quality build with electrify weapon and grabbed a light shield to parry.

No, this is a laptop with a GTX 1650, it's old, doesn't have the best ventilation and also works on single channel, haha Though this is surprisingly the only place that performed so horribly for me so far.

@@clankymocha This is actually interesting because with my 7900xtx & 5800x3d I get exactly the same huge FPS drop, it’s simply unimaginable. I've only seen a few people who don't have this problem. I also experience a huge FPS drop when the undead are resurrected. And there is no solution to this problem anywhere. Anyway, good run.

These are perfect deflects (perfectly timed blocks that negate damage and most stamina loss), not regular blocks, you get that ability from a tear in the dlc.
