Hey, choctopus? Could you maybe do a series on Kirby star allies either for yourself or with the people on sidequest? There is a good amount of stuff to do in the game and there are 3 dlc's to the game adding characters from previous Kirby games but the third dlc adds a hard game mode to it too! There is also guest star allies go which I'm sure you'll love! Remember Morpho knight from Kirby and the forgotten land? Well Kirby star allies was actually the first Kirby game he appeared in! I just wish you did a Kirby star allies series when it first came out so that way there wasn't confusion when you figured him in the forgotten land. Also, in the hard game mode, please try to collect at least 100 friend hearts for the good ending!

Since you were wondering! Trip is likely an armadillo lizard species! They're a species of lizard with highly segmented tails and armor-like scales in similar colors to her, which feels quite accurate to what we see. If not that, she might just be some kind of introduced dragon species, as she looks also quite a bit like a dragonfruit in her scale design.

Very cool if so! Armadillo lizards and sungazers are both members of the _Cordylidae_ family, just in separate genus after a split in 2011, (Armadillos species moved from _Cordylus_ to _Ouroborus_ , while sungazers moved from _Cordylus_ to _Smaug_ .) Does it state in the game she's directly a sungazer? If so, that's very neat! Always cool to see what animals they branch out to.

Small tip for the final boss-- in phase 2 you can actually hit him during the anti grav attack by slipping past the hand and tapping jump while moving toward the head. Makes that phase go by WAY quicker than by normal means.

@@Pinkanator Yeah, given the way the energy balls are shot all over the screen, I thought maybe I could do it, but I thought "No, fuck it, too risky, I'll just put up with waiting until it's over." I eventually did it, but man the boss design for this is bullshit. I haven't gotten to Trip's final boss with Fang (struggling with Trip's Egg Press), but given the BS boss designs with Sand Sanctuary needing you to hit a mole robot to hit Eggman during the final phase, and the difficulty of the 5th Chaos Emerald, I decided to spoil that boss , and it looks even worse than Eggman's Egg Fortress Robot. I even hear the Super Sonic final boss is unnecessarily difficult due to bad design decisions.

To be fair, for the record; there is the distinction for Super and Hyper Amy; when you get all the Chaos Emeralds, you can still transform as her, but the game doesn't outright say like it normally does; when you get the Super Emeralds, it says she can become Super Amy, but the Hammer Throw is indictive of being a Hyper Trait, like Tails' Flicky Army. Long story short, for some reason the game's code doesn't display that Tails and Amy can turn Super upon getting the Chaos Emeralds when they are in fact able to transform; it's just a weird text execution glitch, and I know that is the case as Tails' "You can become Hyper Tails" text was working in Origins before the update to allow the Plus content to easily be migrated into the game's files. So to reiterate what you thought in Cyber Station; The Hammer Throw in Origins IS the sign that you have access to Hyper Amy. I know it's a minor and confusing thing, and I wish they would patch it so it displays properly for Tails and Amy in S3&K Origins, but I doubt it will at this point. Kinda grates on my OCD too.

The final boss (non Last Story) is more annoying and finicky than it is difficult, it’s the level leading up to it that’s hard. You’re fighting every instinct that you built up through the game and just in general. I managed to become Super Sonic in the level since I thought it would make the boss easier since I had a hard time the first few tries. But I eventually gave up when I realized how long the level is and the pointlessness of going Super for the boss. It attacks on a cycle and isn’t vulnerable for most of it, if you started on Phase 2 Super Sonic would be useful, but for Phase 1 it’s entirely pointless and just makes it harder on yourself. The game overall isn’t difficult, but it isn’t piss easy like Forces was, that game was “hold forward the game” for most of it, and surprisingly the Classic Sonic levels were the best part level design wise, but Superstars is a noticeable improvement in literally every regard, that price tag is the main issue with the game. $40 would have made more sense, considering Frontiers is $60, Forces is $40, and Mania is $20 not counting the DLC. That’s a major problem for a lot of reasons, I just hope it sells well and we actually get a sequel unlike Mania. I would also love it if we got a modern 2D game like Advance or Rush since while Classic is fine and all, I much prefer those to the Classic style. I don’t understand this weird mandate that Classic is the only thing that can be 2D and only 2D no 3D. But that’s a SEGA management problem that might change in the future if there is enough demand.

Fairly certain the biggest criticism that this game has is that the bosses near the end are too unforgiving and drag on for far too long, with no checkpoints and having multiple one hit kill moves. I know that's exactly what's putting me off from getting the game right away.

Fadel when playing Tails: gets himself killed the same way over like five times in a row, taunts crushing blocks which he then dies to, uses his chaos ability to slow down time and dies anyway Fadel when playing Amy: solos every single boss, beats Fang on zero rings, beats the final boss by himself on the first go while Sonic didn't do anything

Fun fact: Cyber Station Metal Fighter boss change depending on how you customize your mecha in the multiplayer, so you can fight Metal Sonic, Metal Tails, Metal Knuckles, Metal Amy, Mecha Sonic, Metal NiGHTS, other robots, and even mix robot parts and use different colors Also, Frozen Base Act 2 is a straight recreation of another SEGA game called Fantasy Zone, staring Opa-Opa the first SEGA mascot ever, the level itself is exactly an Fantasy Zone round, with you having to destroy all the generators with the 2 shots and bombs, and the bosses are also straight recreations of 2 of the Fanstasy Zone bosses
