Super Mario Bros Wonder is just what the 2D Mario Games needed. The New Animations are lovely, the New voice acting is great, and the game is full of great ideas and fun gameplay! It is quite literaly a wonderful game haha!

Regarding why they can't just bring the wonder seeds to the castle, note that 90% of them are trapped in their own houses. (9% are being sold instead, and 1% is that master person who refuses to give you their seed unless you complete the trials) Also, the sold seeds are part of the completion like Odyssey, you'll need to buy them eventually regardless.

Always appreciate your opening narrations. They give a good hit of nostalgia while setting the stage for whatever playthrough is starting. Favorite Mario baddie is either bloopers or bob-ombs. Love those guys.

Not sure if you're going for 100%, or just a casual completion, but a word of warning, top of all flagpoles is a requirement for a profile stamp. Additionally, all wonder seeds does infact include the one in the shop, to make sure to buy it after you clear the rest of the world out! Last thing to note, some levels do have secret exits. If you want to know which/quickly scan for levels you missed collectibles in, if you look at the level selection for a world and it doesn't contain a tick stamp in the middle of it, there's something more for you to do in that stage. Good luck with the LP, i've already 100%'d the game myself but I can't wait to watch and see what your thoughts on it are!

OK so I just wanna say. This is actually the most fun Mario game I've ever played. It's very good and expressive. Recently I started watching the super Mario brothers movie. On Thursday and I gotta say it really hipes you up. For the game, I'm going to 100% completed. Wish me good luck.

Hey choc, little tip if you’re going for 100%, in the level select menu (L button) each main level will have a big checkmark stamp if you’ve done everything. this is handy if some levels have hidden Exits! Hope this series is as wonderful for you as it is for the rest of us!

I'm 3 minutes in and I just want to take my time to appreciate that edit of Kamek flying in from screen right to screen left while listening to Gasolina. There's just something about that edit that tickled my funny, and it got a decent laugh and a few replays out of me. It's the chef's kiss, and I shan't be persuaded otherwise.

I'm coming back and watching this series at last and what a treat your playthroughs always are. This game is just such a good mix of a little of the best of everything from every mario game, but I personally see an overwhelming amount of love for smw and smb2, and as a huge fan of smb2 it makes me SO, SO HAPPY. Wonder has squarely earned its place in my top 3 2d mario games now, it can easily dance around and trade places with world for my favorite overall. My number one mario baddie of all time is the snifit, the shy guy is already perfect, but I love me the shoot snoots, so they somehow improve on perfection.

There is a secret exit in the 4 star difficulty level at the end when you get the wonder seed you have to bring a snail shell and break all the bricks. Then you unlock secret levels. Also great video🎉

The new enemy pallet is so vibrant here. Like, in the new super mario bros games especially but even other mario games in general tend to add maybe 5 new enemies at best but here almost every stage has a new enemy type entirely or a new subtype of old ones. As for favourite enemy.. Probably piranha plant. I think they have the most varied collection of variants

Hey! For the 4 star level you did over there, there actually was a secret exit blocked behind the brick wall that you can break as an elephant (Complete the level without damage if short) Using that exit maaay unlock a really cool badge and a pretty cool world as well (not a shorcut)

I got Super Mario Bros Wonder for Xmas, and I've been really enjoying myself. I've 100% most of the levels I've played so far and beaten 2 of the special stages. Every stage feels very unique and different, which just allows you to keep enjoying the game without it getting stale, and the inclusion of badges is extremely helpful, too.

Mario has been my childhood. Got my first videogame console when i was 9 years old, it was a DSi. Fell in love with the mario franchise through mario party. Ever since then, I've only ever owned nintendo stuff. Wii, 3ds, wii u and now the switch. 20 years old now and I can't describe how much mario has been a core part of my childhood.

Choc I just finished 100%’ing the game, it was a *wonderful* time. I would be down to see a 100% playthrough, but just know for 100% you need all three 10 flower coins, top of the flag pole and all wonder seeds in every level. You can check if you go everything in a level in the course menu, it will display a ✅ if you got everything.

Best Mario enemy for me are the Shy Guys. Love them, love the sounds they make, love their diversity, they're just great. Will be forever salty we never got one as a companion in the Paper Mario series though.

The online "Ghost" mode is pretty amazing considering Sonic Superstars didn't do much for online *Edit* Like seriously it's pretty much like playing with people ! Sharing power ups and being able to save each other is amazing ! Also Sonic Superstars is being dwarfed by this game and they have nobody to blame but themselves !

Psst, remember that 4 star level? Remember that line of bricks you found sus in the end? Try bringing the elephant form! Also, there are 3 secrets (two are hidden in the map, one is an exit in the parade level) that bring you to see someone very special! Check every nook and cranny of open areas

14:38 Goombrats IIRC Also 2 things I want to share if you plan to play every Level : When you press L to look at the Level selector you’ll see on the left side if you got the top of the flagpole, the 3 big purple coins, and the wonder seeds, IF you have all of them the background will be a green circle with a check mark. However, if you see you got everything but no checkmark it means that Level has a secret exit. The 2nd Level in the entire game has a secret exit that took me a few attempts to find and I only did with a Badge you get in World 2 (makes blocks appear in some areas in a Level) Also that 4 star level also has a secret exit, keep an elephant seed for the end of the Level and do not go in that pipe but break the blocks instead. Lastly, if you are doing 100% you’ll receive 100 purple coins for getting all the wonder seeds in a world. If you don’t get it that means you missed some or you didn’t get the secret exits to get more Levels you missed out on.

I just got my non gaming family to check it out, showed them the piranha parade level. 2/3 of them wanted to play it instantly because it looks so new and fun and familiar. They haven't played since the NES SNES days. They were saying how easy it was to pick up and play because they remembered so much of it. Even though it's completely new. Amazing game 😊.
