In this video, I beat the games hardest boss on a world that is made up entirely of the games hardest biome. This has never been done before therefore making it a worlds first / world record playthrough. I explain exactly how I did it in great detail in the video.

*Throws out fishing rod* Good job on this, probably one of the greatest achievements in Valheim history. Unless someone does this on hardcore of course but I really think that's IMPOSSIBLE. I mean, theoretically it can surely be down but I don't think a human can.

@@NickRawcliffeIm sure some new challanges would be possible after the Ashlands release, maybe valheim in reverse #2 or vegan challenge #2, with 2 new biomes and bosses it would be actually entertaining, with only mistlands added idk if its worth it. But Its only some ideas, I dont want you to be tortured by the game more 😂 only if you wanted. You are very skilled and entertaining and you make things like this possible, I dont know anybody else that would put this much effort and time into these challenges. We will see what will be possible with ashlands!

I killed the queen tricking its AI by standing close to one of the side doors of the entrance if it deaggro, I just walk towards it and attack and then back up, the queen entered in a loop of turning around and around making the kill easy. I am personally not a fan of the cooldown of its seeker summon, because before you finish dealing with them the boss is already spawning more, and ignore 2 seekers that deals tons of damage is not possible

That's generally how he's done speedruns, the idea being that collecting enough materials to make portals takes too much time. May have changed when Mistlands dropped due to distance and bed survivability, but the speedruns at least up to plains are essentially also nomad runs, which is epic in and of itself. I've tried, it sucks lol

You, sir, have waaaaaaay more patience than me! I don't think I even have the patience to watch the unedited cuts, so very much appreciated the "condensed" version! On a technical note, I was wondering if you sprinkled some revined eitr around the queen room would have helped? Maybe slowed down her regen....but seriously, I learned a ton of useful tricks in this run -thanks!
@MrLammofgod
@MrLammofgod 3 ай бұрын
Very awesome video! Missed your valheim content👍 since I originally learned the "destroying the ward with a cart" trick from here.... You know mad valheim strats but I learned yesterday that you can also just toss refined eiter in a little mountain at the base of it and wait. The eiter kills it's slowly (faster than the cart trick) and you just kinda sit and wait👍
@NickRawcliffe
@NickRawcliffe 3 ай бұрын
True but often in runs you’re looting towers before you make Eitr as brains to make Eitr is often what you’re looking for. But alas it’s a good tip yes. Also not sure if it is actually faster than the cart trick when done efficiently I’d have to test that. The cart trick can be done really slow or really fast depending on how you time you’re sprints. Perhaps I’ll explain it in a video in the future.

This makes me think it would be really cool if the devs added in secret seeds for this game just like terraria has. Obviously this game is way less developed as a whole than terraria, and it doesn't follow the blocky style, but i feel like they could come up with some unique challenge seeds for this game. Even just something that's like a custom island terrain generation where each land mass is a single small to medium sized island of just a single biome could be a fun change to spice up a playthrough. Or possibly spawning the dungeons or points of interest (fuling camps, drake nests, etc.) in completely different biomes. Or giving bosses different types of attacks on a certain seed to make them harder (although personally i think that should be a base game improvement). I think it'd be harder to do secret seeds in this game, but the world generation could definitely make for some entertaining twists and the potential from some really unique seeds is definitely there.

Interesting. Regarding the narrative of your video, it would have been better, to explain the fact, that you modded in the otherwise unobtainable black metal ingots, in the beginning of the video. Missing that information left me suspicious for the first 22 minutes of the video, since I knew with certainty, that in vanilla black metal ingots are unobtainable, without a blast furnace
