I was about to comment “I wish they would add a way to deal with groups of enemies” but I guess does anyone know how to deal with groups of enemies? I use bows but it’s just boring to sit on a rock and shoot 500 arrows until all the goblins are dead, and I’ve tried atgirs but it seems like just using a combo of a spear and a mace are better

Did they make an anti tick potion? worst enemy in the game. I love the feasts. Opens up 3 inventory spots, usually. Ibthinkbthe money's much better balanced. I horde, and in a newer playthrough, I found myself always just a little short on money until I reached the Ashlands. I also love the free food items now and then. That the little ding is satsifying.

I’m excited for the deep north. One thing they could add after 1.0 is a tree biome. Let us teleport to the tree. I’ve always wanted to go up there

god what an inspiring video, the cozy and detailed "alley ways" in the mountains is amazing.

Just recently played through the game with a friend and I absolutely fell in love with it. Only thing I found kind of tacky really was that the Mistlands and the Ashlands feel disconnected from the other biomes item wise. Don't know if it's just us, but we felt like there are way too many unique resources in those two biomes that are too isolated from the rest. I guess that had to happen at some point to have progression, but it still feels kinda annoying. Still, I really love Valheim and I can't wait for the deep north update, and a biome that doesn't just try to overwhelm you sounds nice. Ashlands have been pretty hard on us.

Swamp makes us miss the meadows surrounded by black forrests. When we could easily head out to the woods but come back at the mansion in the evening. I simply hate losing my precious gear when I die

I hope they add more recipes for turnips. Also armor slots so your armor and clock and anything you wear isn't in your bag but on your character.

That is something I always dreamed of doing since Valhiem came out. Turning an entire server into a build.

Don't forget, always bring enough mats for a stone cutter and shield generators. Once you get down on the shore you would have to build a secure base, you can get easily swarmed in the ashlands due to the ton of mobs in it. There are tons of grausten from morgens and laval blobs exploding so you can easily make a base with it.

Oh so I took on an impossible challenge and click baited us by not telling us it’s modded.

The game still needs optimization an quality of life. Breeding and animal transportation is very raw. Pigs, lox, wolves and chickens can be frustrating. Especially coraling the nonfollower/nonmountable domestic animals. Having pigs and chickens follow us would be a easy implementation but not as fun or challenging. Being able to pick them up to put back in would be optimal after a chase would be cool.

They launched into early access too early. This is the 4th Christmas we have played. We play once a year and we make a new server every year. I’m shocked that in year four it’s possible that next Christmas I could still be in early access.

I bought the game like 2 years ago and played for like an hour then guit and never played again the lack of information you get when the game really starts threw me off dont really enjoy playing a game where i constantly need to google some shit to get further

None of this sounds like fun at all. What a grind. So is the parry and melee system essentially useless in ashlands? I don’t want to run around spamming staff attacks for 30 minutes just to progress every 20 feet.

I haven't done Ashlands content but the wrong weapon is very clearly being used in that fight. That decision is everything in this game.
